Cummins Custom Upholstery

**Beware**I contacted Mr. Cummins because I wanted to replace the cushion in my sofa. He took the cushion for two days and returned it with what I think was the cheapest foam he could find, it was square and hard as a table top. He charged me $285.00 for the foam which I gladly paid. I told him I was not happy with what he had used to replace the cushion and that it was very uncomfortable so he said he would be happy to work with me to have it done properly and make it more comfortable. I had told Mr. Cummins that I wanted my old cushion back. After repeated phone calls to him to get my old cushion back, he refused to call me back. What I suspect happened was he used my old cushion in someone else’s sofa. I’ve never heard back from him. Do not use this business, he is a rip-off artist.

Darren was excellent to work with. He re did my trailer seats, cushions and valances and did a great job. Super quick as well because I was time limited. Highly recommend

I am so happy that Cummins Custom Upholstery has relocated to Lindsay! We have used them many times over the last few years and have always been really happy with the quality of work. Darren's attention to detail is amazing! Welcome to Lindsay!

I left my couch with Darren and he never touched it for over a year. He always promised to get to it but on visits I could see it was not even started. When I finally gave up and went to get my couch back, he had lost the cushions. He promised my deposit back, but always canceled when I was on my way to get it. I offered him a payment plan and he failed to honor this as well. An all around nightmare you should avoid.

Darren was kind, professional and super responsive to my many questions. We had a small job done and the quality is impeccable. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

I meant McCall's, Peterborough with this bad review. I have not even been in contact with Cummins but will not long from now.My apologies to Cummins Custom Upholstery.

We have used Cummins Custom Upholstery several times and have been 100% satisfied with the quality of workmanship and customer service by Darren Cummins. Darren gave great direction in choosing fabric and styles, we never felt rushed or pressured.I am very surprised by the negative feedback I have seen on Google, this has certainly not been our experience with Cummins Custom Upholstery and in fact we have recommended Darren to several people.We are now looking at having our couch cushions re done and it will be Darren that we will have do the job.

As per other reviews, yes, at times it was extremely frustrating trying to contact Darren, and absolutely it took some time to actually pin him down…..That being said, once he actually picked up my furniture, I suffered only a brief delay in its return….The final result was wonderful!!Without doubt, Darren is a very skilled upholsterer. He actually finished my 2 chairs finer than they had been originally!It was my rolled arm sofa that really impressed me! Absolutely beautiful attention to all the complicated pleating required!I will definitely call Darren again!

One star is one too many!!! Would never recommend this place for your furniture needs!!
