TEMO has a warranty for their product however if you ever try to put a claim in be prepared for them to deny it.I have learned that they did not have an appropriate means of tracking/maintaining registrations prior to 2023. They are just now setting up a database to track registrations. So the first issue you would have with any warranty claim is they will tell you you did not put in a proper registration.After that, any defects in their product they will quickly dismiss as installation issue" and they will refuse to honor your claim.TEMO WARRANTY IS A SCAM. They have no intentions of ever honoring any claims.Update: Response from the owner is a false statement. I did have my roof repaired by one of the installers. Per his photos (which he submitted to TEMO) The install was done correctly and the tape was still adhered. In fact the proper installation was the only reason why my roof wasn't leaking due to the defect in materials. Again

If you are considering purchasing a Temo Sunroom, I urge you to move on and find a reliable, honest company that will stand behind their products. Here’s our story in brief: our sunroom door handle literally fell apart 3 YEARS AGO. I’ve been contacting them for 3 solid years to get some type of replacement, but they insist they have non-interchangeable parts, meaning there’s nothing on the market anywhere that will work in that door (sales tactic). We now have a sunroom which is the entire focal point of our backyard and cannot get in our out of the door. Note: if you looked up Temo Inc on the Better Business Bureau website and saw an A+ rating, please read the plethora of complaints on them and be steered in the right direction by these complaints, they truly are legitimate and the A+ rating?…not so much

I am responding to Temos response to my wife's review (Kavita P.). If Backyard Living is blaming the city, they are not being very truthful. The reason more permits were needed was because when the posts were being installed the installer and I realized that the plans called for a sunroom with a floor 10 feet off the ground. This would have been somewhat inconvenient because that would have made it about 2/3s of the way between the first and second floor. The top of the sunroom needed to be 10' off the ground. So the plans had to be redone and then the permits resubmitted. So the statement that the city required new permits is true, but only because of a very sizeable mistake on the part of Backyard Living that, when I first saw it, it took me like 10 minutes to even comprehend that it was something that could happen.And regarding the delay caused by the supply chain. We gave our deposit around April of 2021. The work didn't start until January of 2022 and didn't finish until late April. There was zero movement on the sunroom getting started until we told them we were moving and might need to cancel. So did the supply chain clear up once the prospect of cancelling arose?I will say, Kylie was good to work with and empathetic. John (the installer) was nice and did his best with what he had to work with.One note on the install, since Backyard Living wouldn't do it, it would be way better to let us install flooring before the electrical tracks are put in because otherwise there is no easy way to get the flooring down in a clean way.

I've had one since around 2000 and it is a great room . That being said, my door handle also broke, I am going on my third one, why do you make them so cheaply made. The screws are stripped out on the latch. I never touched it

Edited Review: I'm updating my previous review to say that Temo DOES stand behind their work. Working with their new general manager, Adam Kelly, the issue related to the siding that adjoins our covered patio was been completely resolved! Corey and Austin just completed the work and were outstanding!! A great product is one thing, but great service makes all the difference.

We've installed several TEMO operating pergolas over the past few years. It's a great way to expand an outdoor space while still having control over the shade and rain cover. Each one has been very high quality and still standing strong after pushing through the winter seasons of Wisconsin.

Pergola is well made and of very good quality but the design of the rafters needs improvement. There is no way for water to drain out of the rafter. Ours filled with rainwater and eventually we had water dripping down the inside wall of our home. Not good.

Recently had a patio cover installed over my deck, looks great! The installation crew was on time, did beautiful work, cleaned up after and it was all done in 1 day! It has added beauty and quality to my home, I’m sure the resale value just increased. A new great place to entertain and relax. Thank you.

I would like to start by saying that I do like the product, and we are enjoying it now. That is the only reason for two stars. This is the worst company I have ever worked with from start to finish. A one-day project turned into just shy of one year to complete. Three different project managers for a one day install that no one seemed to know how to install. I was the one initiating the calls, leaving messages that went unanswered, trying to get things done. From the very start the installer gave me incorrect information that led to the repairs that needed to be revised. He lied to me numerous times, concerning the location of the electrical panel (which I had already had installed prior to him starting the project), the end caps, and exposed wires. In addition, the pitch was off. I had to call several times to have someone come out to correct mistakes. I finally snapped the end caps on myself. I was given dates and times, and no one showed up. Then I was told someone would come out next week, not even a day, no one would even call. I would wait for hours, and days. Arranging my schedule only to have no one call or show up. Holes were drilled that were not needed and later had to be plugged. One side they had to take apart and rebuilt to try and correct the pitch, which did not work. There were a small group of individuals who finally started getting things done in the end. The electrician, Denny, Kristina and Kylie in the office, were the ones who returned calls and seemed to care. The owner gave me excuses regarding the sloppy work and lack of experience, but no solutions. He asked me how to solve the problem. He wanted me to give him more money which I refused to do until errors they made were amended. The owner gave no apologies. In the end, not even a call to see if everything was okay. Now I need to replace my gutters from four inches to six to stop rain flow because of a gap between the house and the pergola. This will be at my expense as well. But at this point I don't care I don't ever want to hear this company's name again. I would not recommend Temo to anyone to do any work.
