Prairie Mall Coin Laundry
Old machines, dirty floors, I came in at 4:40, started the machines at 4:45. When I can back at 5:10 I was told that the last load must be done at 5. Super confusing. I have not used a laundromat for a while. I guess the competitors are even worse.

Living in an apartment with no laundry facilities means going to a laundromat. I feel fortunate to have Prairie Mall Coin Laundry, in Port Coquitlam, BC, only minutes away. One dedicated hour in there and it's all done! The gentleman who tends to always be there when I am is courteous and friendly.

Not a posh place, but very friendly and helpful owners/attendants. They have a maxi washer for king-size duvets 7$ .. was excellent .... dried for 3$!

Came at 6:05pm only to use the dryer. Owner says last load is at 6pm. They close at 7:00pm, the owner still would not let me use the dryer for 30 min, he says he doesnt want to start the dryer for only 1 customer. I came here cause google maps shows them open till 7:30, but none the less. I was only 4 minutes after their last load time(wash load), so frustrating and unbelievalbe. For .25 cents of electricity he kicked me out. BTW, i was so nice with him, and asked him very politely, its only 4 min and etc... CUSTOMER SERVICE 0

I came in at 5:30pm knowing it closed at 7. I started my loads and left to get some food. As I walked out the man who worked there asked me to come back in 25 minutes. 25 minutes later I was almost done eating, I finished my food, and came back 30 or 35 minutes later. He literally followed me around the laundromat and berated me for not coming back when I was supposed to. I took my laundry, asked for a $10 back for the quarters he’d changed for me, and left.

Awesome laundry, the lowest wash cost about 3 dollar per load and the dryers are $0.25 with the options of delicate, permanent press and regular drying. The owner is a really nice person. Do check it out if you are searching for coin laundry near oxford heights.
