Lots of neat nautical displays to see!

I attended the Ceremonial Divisions to present the refurbished Corps Kisbee ring. This is my home Corps and I have been an alumni since 1975. I also painted the Corps Badge which hangs on the Parade Square.

Travelled all the way from Vancouver to visit the HMCS Chippewa Museum. My father enlisted in 1942 at 19, and was assigned to the HMCS Chippewa, which this museum is dedicated to. I came to see crew lists, ship photos and memorabilia that would provide our family with insight into our fathers young naval experience.On-site “navy” staff provided no help in accessing and viewing the museum. Apparently only volunteers have access and no one wanted to assist me. Staff were uninterested, unhelpful, zero support. I’m appalled these individuals have such little interest in supporting families looking to uncover the naval experience of a family member who spent their assignments fighting German U-boats in the Atlantic. Get volunteers who care about the families who travel great distances to uncover the history of a loved one.

Very interesting history and the deck gun was an amazing piece of machinery to see.

Don't call them if you have questions. They swear at you and are very disrespecful. Those receptionist are a disgrace to the Navy.
