Mr. Lube + Tires

Knowledge/ expertise is poor. New management is not good. Customer Service was horrible and to top it up they are little over priced compared to market.

If you like going back to get things done that should have been done properly in the first place, this is the place to go. Got my oil changed, came home and parked in the driveway. Noticed oil underneath so I had to take it back to get it checked out. Everything tight but not washed properly the first time. Nothing offered to clean off my driveway but “put some sand on it” and then pressure wash it. So… back to the dealership for my oil changes. Not only cheaper, but I don’t have to run back to get it done properly and don’t have to clean my driveway off after. Win win!Nice leaving customer feedback where they assure you they will get back to you. Still yet to hear from them and it’s been weeks. People don’t care about customers any more..

I came to this shop as soon as I got a new car, because my girlfriend changed the car battery in this shop before. I once thought this shop was good, so I came again. But I think this is my last visit. I can't say whether they meant to tease me or waste my time. But I just want to say that their work is very careless and not serious. And if you drive a luxury car, they may also charge more money for the winter tires（i guess）. To be honest, this price and this service let me down. I would rather choose to return to Canadian tire than consider this store again.

Absolutely incredible service. I have been having a really hard time booking an appointment to get my winter tires on, other companies said it was a 5 week wait (crazy!). I found Mr. Lube after and they got me in immediately! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me pick the right set of tires for my car and for my needs as I’m new to Manitoba, put them on super quick, and I was gone in less than an hour. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

Was good to know that they accept walk ins on a weekend. I was offered basic check while they were balancing and swapping my winter tires. Paras was the advisor and was informative. I will recommend this location to friends.

Mr Lube drained the oil out of my truck but neglected to fill it. I knew that something was wrong as soon as I turned onto 18th street.I had to drive several blocks to get back into their lot because of the one way streets and when I did show the manager what they'd done he said no big deal

Sadly have had several poor experiences, despite several attempts at regaining my confidence and trust.New Management (2023) doesn’t follow up on customer complaints and isn’t nearly reactive enough. The changes in management at this store seem to have had a negative impact on service.Twice had my cars lower engine compartment tray fall off after oil changes from here, resulting in severe damage to tray requiring new parts. only once have they replaced it, and the second time they failed to respond to our complaint.We also had tires replaced some time back and the cost was “out of this world expensive” with pressured sale tactics. Sadly will not be going back.

On two separate occasions I was told by staff at the Brandon location that my car was in need of parts and extra work at a high cost my vehicle is new and still on factory warranty so I took to the dealership only to hear there was no issues , this past Saturday I took my vehicle to mr lube with a screw in the tire only going there as it was a weekend and dealerships couldn’t accommodate only to be told the tire was unfixable and quoted 1900 dollars for new ones!! Took it to the dealership and guess what it was a “easy repair” clearly the staff are only concerned about upselling for commission or brownie points but none the less it’s taking advantage of woman and ppl who aren’t mechanically inclined it’s disgusting I would give no stars but that wasn’t possible

One of the fastest oil changes I've had in a long time.Pulled up around 11am on a Tuesday, there was no line. Stepped out of my car for 5 minutes, came back, sat in the car another 5 minutes, paid and was gone.Total time was no more than 15 minutes. The folks working here were very kind, didn't try to upsell me anything, and even cleaned my windows.Courteous, quick, and professional.10/10 an overall great experience.

Went to have my already mounted winter wheels put on last fall. Took over an hour once inside. It takes me less time to do it myself in the driveway.They found a nail in one of the summer tires and told me it wasn't repairable due to being on the sidewall. They just wanted to upsell me on their tire program. Kal Tire said it was absolutely repairable and fixed it for me.They asked if I wanted an oil change, I said no as we had that scheduled in a week at the dealership. They said the oil was bad despite having had an oil change just 4 months earlier and under 4000 km of travel. They came back and said the manager approved a 20% discount on an oil change, so I asked for a quote. They came back with $ 130 - something! The dealership charges $110 regular price!While I was sitting there, it looked like they pulled one of the balancing weights off a winter rim, and then they pointed out it was out of balance. When I pointed out what I saw, they claimed it was debris they removed. Now, I needed to pay for balancing despite the fact that they had only been used one season since brand new, no previous issues with vibration, etc.Avoid this location. They are only looking to upsell and provide services not necessary.
