I've tried Friterie Chez Den for the first time today and I must admit they've got the tastiest, most delicious poutine in town. Seriously, this is a great place to enjoy some authentic French-Canadian poutine. It is a bit far from Gatineau centre ville or Ottawa but it's worth a try. The people behind the counter were also very nice and polite. Parking and cashless options aren't a problem. Their prices are lower if compared against their peers in more crowded areas.Strongly recommended.

Definitely worth going to even if it's out of the way! The gravy is thick and delicious, the fries are beautifully cooked, and the portion sizes are great. I've had the La Den (pepperoni and ground beef) with pepper gravy, as well as the the Viande poutine with bacon and mushroom gravy. Both highly recommended!

Incredibly good poutine — very good French fries, fresh squeaky cheese curds, and good brown gravy. Very friendly bilingual service. Clean bathroom. Glad we took the detour to get our poutine fix as we were leaving Quebec!At the time of our visit in Feb 2020, Google maps showed that it was cash only, but they took MasterCard, Visa and debit no problem

Had a poutine and 2 pogos. Both meals were so good. Definitely one of the best poutines I’ve ever had. Wonderful staff and delicious food.

It was my first time visiting friterie chez den, i previously had doubt about giving it it a try, I'm really fast at judging. I was wrong, we ordered a half club sandwich with a black pepper sauce Poutine, regular Poutine, onion rings, crispy fried pickles and Oreo donuts. It was delicious, the black pepper sauce Poutine was perfectly balanced, they added cheese in the middle of the container, the club sandwich was good. The Oreo donuts were smaller than we expected, they are the timbits size but they are savory as hell, they tasted like heaven.In my opinion, don't be fast judging of a small junk shack like I was and give this place a try, it's worth it. (Try the Oreo donuts).The only negative thing I can say about this place is the fact that they did not ask me the bread type for my club sandwich and if I wanted mayo inside, everything else was spot on.

I never tried the fast food there...Its for the car wash!! I give 4* cause its a bit pricey...for a good wash that I do myself I use at least 17...18$ of loonies and toonies!! But there's always soap and works all the time!!
