We had a great time ,caught some nice big fish & lots of fish in general. The only downfall was if you have a mobility issue , wish we had told them before, maybe we could have got a cabin without such a climb. Everyone was so nice & helpful , guides were excellent, & fun to fish with. Will for sure do this again if we can afford it.

Andy Myers Lodge is awesome. Julian, Nicky and the entire staff are the best and they treat you like Kings and Queens. Our Guide was a perfect fit for us and always put us on the fish. My husband, son and I had a great fishing trip.

The Staff from top down are the most friendly, accommodating, and always asking if you are having a good time. They are sincerely and genuinely interested in you having a great experience a good time that is high quality, memorable and fulfilling. Our Guide Darcy was a pleasure extremely knowledgeable, experienced who also shared techniques and tips that were game changers. The food is outstanding the entire experience was unbelievable, fishing, hospitality, great boat tenders, housekeeping, and dinning staff were the best. I am returning later this summer and same time next year, wish I could go higher than a five due to the positive friendly attitudes experienced all week, everywhere. THANK YOU ALL, Scott

My husband and I just finished up a weeklong fishing trip here, and I’m so happy to say that everything is just as wonderful as it was before our brief travel hiatus. We started coming up in 2015 and have fished here every other year. As a woman of color, I don’t always get a lot of respect from other anglers who are oftentimes males. But this is not the case at Andy Myers. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that is great for families (adults and children), couples, coworkers, or friends. And if you didn’t come with friends, you’ll certainly leave with some as you get to know other guests and the staff/guides.You are completely cared for and practically pampered while you are at camp. The fishing guides always put you on the fish, the dock kids hustle to get your boat ready and clean your fish, the housekeeping girls tidy up your cabins while you fish, and the cook keeps you well fed! During this most recent trip, my brother-in-law got a really bad infection on our first day which caused him to go home early. We drove him to Winnipeg for his flight home, and when we returned to camp mid-morning the next day, Julian had a guide (whom we’ve fished with for years) ready on the dock to take us out fishing for the full 8 hours despite our starting late. It is accommodations like these that make the place special and well worth coming back for.We love coming here and can’t wait to go back!

We booked a stay at Andy Meyer’s last summer and after making the deposit all communication between Andy Meyer’s (Julian) and us was lost. He stopped responding to emails, phone calls and still we have not heard back. We have also not received our deposit back.

Just returned home from my first trip into Canada and staying at AML, had such an absolutely incredible time I'm already planning my next trip there. The entire staff is absolutely welcoming, friendly, and top-notch. The meals are incredible and will guarantee to fill you up, the cabin was always clean after returning from a day of fishing. Julian the owner goes above and beyond for his guests, I had an unfortunate incident of slipping on some wet rocks and taking a brief dive in the lake, he offered to put my boots on his personal boot-warmer so they were dry for me the next morning. The guides are all fantastic, even the ones I never went out with asked me every day how the fishing was and congratulated me when I landed my first musky. Thank you Gordy for that one! You'll make plenty of friends with the workers and guides, as well as the other guests as you're relaxing in the lodge after a full day of fishing. The dock boys are also fantastic, they were always helpful with getting us a boat when we wanted to go out for another hour or two in the evening after dinner and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Can not recommend this place enough, an absolute joy to stay at for a long week of fishing.

If you're looking for a family or buddy fishing trip in Canada - Choose Andy Myers!!Our trip to Andy Myers first week in June 2022 was excellent! Walleye Bite was consistently strong five days in a row. Large numbers, good size and we limited out relatively easily. The hospitably, friendliness and the HUSTLE from Julian, Nikki, and their entire staff was very, very impressive. It was a team approach in making our fishing trip of 6 – memorable, safe, and fun!!!We brought our own fishing boats, plus utilized their guides for a day of fishing and learning the lake and history of the area. This was super helpful!! And I would say a must to hire their Guides for 1 day or more to catch more fish and navigate the beautiful Lake. Our guides Jamie and Darcy, shared and showed all of us how to successfully navigate the large lake, 68,000 acres with endless bays, glacier rock cliffs and many islands - which in many areas look similar. This was super helpful for us to head out fishing on our own.Sharing fishing hots spots were also discussed freely on the lake map in the lodge. Everyone on the staff wanted to us to have a safe and productive fishing experience and ran, yes ran to help us from getting us minnows to cleaning our fish to securing our boats in the marina. 'The Hustle'.You need to be careful fishing Eagle Bay. Ensuring you track your lake travel on your electronics is of utmost importance! It was impressive again the sharing of lake knowledge to us new fisherman to Eagle Bay by several of the Guides, Julian and Nikki.Early June ’22 Timing: Excellent Walleye Fishing with Water temps rising. However, with the water being 4’ higher than normal, many unseen under-water rock shelfs and beds were important to learn where these were marked... and not marked… Also quite bit of floating logs and sticks to watch for due to the high water. Our Cabin #4 accommodated the 6 of us with no problems. We also enjoyed suppers together at the lodge, via the American Plan The food was very good and plentiful! We also watched the NHL playoffs in the Lodge with other fishermen and hockey lovers which was a bonus of the trip for me :)Andy Myers Fishing Camp is the right size - not to small and not to big and impersonal. Families with younger children and/ or young adults will have a blast!! Fishing Buddies at all levels will learn new fishing techniques plus new fishing knots as well - Thanks Jamie!!WE WILL BE BACK!!

Just returned from my 14th trip to Andy Myers Lodge over the last 6 years and I can't wait to go back. A great facility on spectacular Eagle Lake. Cabins have a true Canadian wilderness feel and the lodge is new and modern. The food is both tasty and plentiful. Most important is the service. From the world class guides to the dock boys to the housekeeping staff to the kitchen staff, top notch service is everyone's goal. It doesn't matter whether you have a group of fishing buddies or a family trip in mind or whether you're an expert fisherman or a novice, the guide staff can put you on fish and the fishing is great whether you're interested in walleyes or muskies and you can bring your own boat or use one of their available boats. I can't say enough. It may not be the least expensive choice available, but you won't be disappointed. Escape the world at Andy Myers Lodge.
