William Shoe Store

Found this store based on searching online for wider shoes and that it was close to me. What a great experience! I showed my brand new left foot ankle brace and the very friendly and knowledgeable store lady (Kimmy) found me a great looking pair of shoes on the first attempt specific for such braces, helped me put it on, and watched me walking on it.She also promised me that I can return the shoes if my Orthotics office didn't approve them. Well, they were approved and complimented, but I still returned the week after to have an extra insole for the right shoe to keep the shoe heights balance, and she provided me with one insole after watching me walking.Kimmy is very skilled at her job, very fair sales lady, and a great person to talk to. She and I both agreed having a good shoe person is on top of the ranking of daily necessities at the same level of having a good car mechanic and a good doctor.My satisfaction is not unique because while I was at the store both times, a few of the customers openly praised how good she has been to them over the years in terms of competency and friendliness. Very much recommended!

William shoe store stocks shoes for everyone, even if you have a wider foot. Fashionable shoes are stocked here, for anyone looking for stylish shoes. This has been my experience.I hope to visit next week, 03/29/2016 for a nice pump for a special occasion.

I have had difficulty with finding shoes for my entire life due to wide feet. I have tried New York and London UK with very limited luck. 2 years ago I went to this store and was amazed at the selection. I actually found shoes that fit!! Knowing that I would not be in Toronto again for a long time I bought most of what fit. It was a lot of money but I will have them for many years. I had been here several years before but found nothing-It appears that they hired a new buyer and thus many stylish comfortable wide width shoes. Thx

Great store with a really nice selection of comfortable, affordable shoes. I bought winter boots that were on sale and the shop owner was very kind and helpful. She also gave me some tips for how to clean and take care of my shoes. It was a very pleasant experience.

Based on the reviews went here expecting to find a comfortable pair of shoes. Instead, found a poorly stocked, tiny store in a run-down building with 1 employee who completely ignored us. There was very little variety in the shoes available. Not worth the trip at all.

Was walking by and went in on a whim as I was wearing shoes for the first time that were too big on me and uncomfortable. Right away the friendly staff in the store helped me and picked out insoles to make them a size smaller. They even bent down and helped me tighten the shoes and re-laced them. Great service and so helpful! Would come back for sure next time I'm looking for shoes.

Williams shoes is always helpful. They feature mostly ( durable - dressy) European shoes and cary a variety of widths. They take the time to find a shoe that fits.

This store has a great selection of wide width shoes. After falling a number of times, I gave up on all shoes that did not have orthopaedic support. I went to Williams when I was desperate for a pair of everyday shoes. The gentleman there suggested a pair for me and they fit beautifully. I bought about 4 pairs of the same shoe. Now I am desperately waiting for the shoes to wear out so I can have a new pair. After about 5 years, still no luck. Really though, great place. Anyone over 55 should try out this place!!!! Especially if their feet hurt.

This is by far my favourite shoe store in Toronto. As always they had exactly what I needed today ... a pair of high quality slip on shoes to use as slippers around the house (replacing the last pair bought here 4 years ago ... same exact brand and model) and a pair of high quality Dunham leather sandals which fit my wide large feet with my high instep perfectly ... and look great too ! What a terrific shop with terrific service.

My mom has trouble finding shoes normally. She managed to find 3 pairs of shoes thanks to the wonderful lady working there. She was so kind and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend checking this store out.
