Swiss Chalet
Had a great meal today. Great service and food came fast and just as ordered. Server was great. I would come again if I ever come back into town.

Swiss Chalet
Swiss Chalet started business in 1954. I enjoy the consistency of the menu, of course, the rotisserie chicken and chalet sauce they're famous for. As with any chain, restaurant to restaurant can vary but we've always been happy with the food. The service is always good. Carling Ave restaurant has not been overly crowded when we've dined there for lunch on weekdays

I have been to this location three times since the Merivale location closed. Once they forgot my wife's salad and had to go back and get it with no apologies from the servers. The last time I went in for pickup I asked for extra sour cream and butter and was told to swipe my card again so they could charge me for condiments. I will not pay extra for condiments at any restaurant. This is a deal breaker for me and from now on I will no longer be Buying from Swiss Chalet anywhere.

The atmosphere was rather dreary, and the food was okay. The food in person is a lot smaller than what you see on the website. Personally, I found it to be really overpriced for how little you get. I had the crispy chicken sandwhich, you get a mediocre amount of fries and judging by the photos online, you actually get maybe a fifth of the coleslaw on the actual burger than what they 'say' you get. I won't come back here unless someone I know really wants to come here, you can get better deals and food elsewhere.

I ordered spring rolls at 8.99 . It was a super rip off. I got 4 little 3 inch long things not much bigger around than a large pen. False advertising in the menus, the picture you show doesn't come even little bit close to matching the product served. Disgusting , disappointing and Swiss sould be ashamed of such deception. I and another guest really should have refused the order.The last Wednesday of every month up to 15 + older gentlemen go for lunch together , and it has been at this restaurant , 2150 Carling Ave , Ottawa Ont. K2A1H1.

The best BBQ chicken in town!!! Super service by our server FARNOUSH who is very attentive and always pleasant!!! It is the best family restaurant for BBQ chicken!!!

Been going to Swiss Chalet for many years. Always a good experience. Not tonight. My roast beef dinner arrived cold. The potatoes and the meat and the sauce. 4 piece s of vegetable in horrible condition. Pepper burnt and rest cold and looked old.Server was abrupt and didn't bring any butter.Hung over me and asked if I wanted to tip. I did and said nothing.Worst experience and I will not return.i noticed others unsatisfied to.Lost a loyal customer today. I should not have to ask for a decent meal. It's a simple supper.Very disappointed.

Completely unacceptable, I order enought that the delivery drivers knows me on a first name basis and tonight they're out of full rack of ribs but the have half racks... why should I have to pay twice the price because of their poor management. This location is a constant let down due to poor management and customer service. You'd be better off going to Harvey's (which is attached to them) if you want quality over subpar quantity... the manager on dutyy at 6:37 hungry up ob me, not I was not sweaing or anything. Not raising my voice, nothing. I will be contacting swisschslet directly with my audio recording.

My god what a horrible experience. Bad food, very bad waiter service. Dirty restaurant. Save yourself and eat elsewhere, just an all around very but very bad experience. NEVER AGAINNOW THEY WANT ME TO FILL OUT A FORM WHAT A JOKE BAD SERVICE, FOOD THEN THEY WANT ME TO DO MORE

I’ve ordered takeout from this location a few times now and:NOT ONCE have they had the food ready anywhere close to when my pickup was scheduled.NOT ONCE have they not missed items from my order.NOT ONCE has their staff even been able to address people picking up orders in a timely or friendly manner.This location (in conjunction with the now closed Merivale location) has discouraged me from ordering from Swiss Chalet in the future. Do yourself a favour and order elsewhere.
