We tried to have lunch by the water but the Nats were so bad we had to sit in the car. Guess it's just that time of the year. The swans were beautiful though.

Very nice place. Lots of swans and butterflies, nice enclosed area to look out on the water, it also has a ramp for wheelchairs which was a nice addition as well as a low spot to look out of you are a small child or wheelchair bound.

I would say you could skip this area, not a lot of space to use and there were so many flies. It was pretty enough but you can get similar views elsewhere in the park.

Gorgeous slice of nature magic!! Currently boat access is a must and definitely worth the ride!

Good place to look for birds because it is normally quiet throughout the day. Godd place to launch a kayak also because it is sheltered from the predominantly westerly winds which can make recovery dangerous on the western side of the park.

Good quiet area, lots of birds (and baby ducks in spring/early summer!) wear bug spray as this is a natural marshland and will have bugs!

Pretty, but not well organized - the various signs are not linked, descriptions are more about birding than history - War of 1812 site given minimal notice for example.

Good parking. Quiet area. Observation deck over the water. Lots of birds to see.
