This park is so bad. I cant believe its still open. I cant understand how anybody stays here. The beach sucks, the bathrooms are gross, the campsites are bad, and there isn't even a store in the park. Its just an empty building. I was even more surprised when I found the pool or at least what is left of it. The walls are caved in and it is now a mini swamp. Hopefully new owners with some sense will buy it and fix it up because it honestly does have potential. But with its current owners its the worst and most gross camping park I have ever stayed at.

Beach and surrounding area was covered in goose feces, was unable to contact owners upon arriving and didn't hear from them at all our entire stay. Pool was unusable as the sides were caved in and the water resembled a swamp. Nobody was in the office to direct us to our site, but a nice resident assisted us. No store on site to get ice or anything, will need to go into Madoc to get it. If gate is down when you go out for a day trip will need another resident to help you get back in as the owner/staff never provided a code for the gate.

This park has great potential. Unfortunately it has gone down hill. There ate no working public washrooms. The pool has been filled in and the splash pad is isn't working. There's no store on the grounds. The place has a lot of old trailers in it. Not very I viting at all. Beach is weedy..

If I could give it a zero, I would. Was once a very nice, well-kept family campground. The beach was pristine, as were the grounds. So sad that it was sold to people who could care less about anything except $$$.Nice job, Frank!

Great Place! Very Nice, Years Before The Was Much More You Could Do, I Haven't Been There In A While, But My Parents Had A Spot There, And We Loved It, Walking Down Is Just Absolutely Lovely, Its So Fun, There Is So Much To Do, Never Gets Bored! 5/5!!

Place has so much potential! Owners don't seem to care! Lovely beach and lake. Sites are a good size. But that's it. Used to be an amazing resort. Used to have restaurant, pool. So sad that it is being neglected.

I've been going with my family for over ten years now and every year we are even more dissapointed. Its an absolutely disgusting park. The pool had a simple liner issue about ten years back and it was never fixed due to the lazy owners. The pool is now a swamp with plants and caved in walls. They also put in a really bad splash pad a few years ago and that doesn't work anymore. The playground is dangerous and has not been a good one for many years. The beach is covered in Goose feces, seaweed, and garbage. There is very little to do there. There isn't even a restaurant or store anymore. It is a very pathetic park. The owners are some of the most rude and dumb people you will ever encounter in your lifetime. They have no business sense and do not fix or upgrade anything. They also will not help you with any issues. Its the residents who help people out and deal with issues such as park violence and loud noise. The bathrooms are never cleaned and they even have a sign stating that the residents must keep it clean. It smells like piss and is covered in dirt. The only good thing about the park is that if you are noisy and like to party you will never get kicked out or have to deal with the owners. It truly is an awful trailer park.

So funny enough last year my father and uncle provided me with a kayak. However there was small issue, a tiny hole that would inevitably leave me bailing myself out with a single croc and slowing drifting toward crystal beach campground. The people there watched me and it was blatantly obvious I didn't belong there. They pushed me back into the water and I was on my way. They didnt do much to help but their hearts were in the right place.
