Great service, friendly and HONEST staff. Have been going to this mechanic for 3+ years and have never been pressured to buy things I didn’t need, and the staff is always helpful when I have questions.

Great place to get work done on your vehicle.Andrew is just very professional he is very educated on all the equipment works hard to give you a great deal.l went in to get my front wheel bearing checked the Mechanic found the problem very quickly. Did the repairs and had me on my way.And the price was just fantastic. From start to finish l would say l was very pleased. Thank you guys and keep up the great work. And Andrew Go Leafs Go

I had friends that needed emergency help with their tires . Turned into see if they would help. They said they could not help at all , were completely rude and sent my friends on their way with a blown tire . Very dangerous . Horrible customer service . Think twice before you go here .

READ THIS REVIEW!!!I went in today, May 26th for an alignment.For those that do not know, to perform an alignment the shop requires a spec chart for the vehicle.All shops have the specs for every car manufactured, allowing customers to easily drop off their cars for an alignment, with no documents required from the customer.Now in my case, I am an at-home self-proclaimed mechanic. I have taken every part of my car apart and back together many times.One aspect of my vehicle I have modified is the suspension. I very recently replaced the lower control arms, LCA bushings, both inner & outer tie rods, sway bar links, and importantly, installed an aftermarket coilover set.Coilovers allow for adjustable ride height. My car has been lowered slightly (Approx. 1.5 inches) to improve handling characteristics.These modifications result in the original spec sheet for the car being incorrect and incompatible with my vehicle.In an attempt to negate this and still allow my vehicle to be aligned, I provided a spec sheet from the same model vehicle with a lowered sport suspension.(It must be noted that this spec sheet was not for the suspension I installed on my car, but from an OEM vehicle with a sport suspension package, thus the suspensions are entirely different, with the only similarity being it is for the same chassis & both have lowered ride height, yet at different heights).OKTIRE was receptive of the spec sheet I provided, and took my car in to align. I waited in the lobby.After a short while, a nice lady came out to let me know they were unable to perform the alignment, as the spec sheet was too different to apply to my car with custom suspension, and that they were not going to charge me as they couldn’t complete it.So, why 5 stars if they couldn’t do the alignment?Because they didn’t lie to me.My first (and last) experience with another mechanic resulted in my car being returned with various broken components, missing bolts from air intake, engine cover, a battery line ran in the wrong place at a 90 degree angle, the fan disconnected, and misfiring on 4/6 cylinders.That mechanic told me the job was all done and charged me $600 before I saw the car. I complained, left it with them to receive it back the next day in comparably worse condition. I left a bad review, the owner called me and asked me to change it.OKTIRE doesn’t do that. I was given 100% honesty and they did their best with what I had provided to them. They easily could’ve lied and said it was done and I wouldn’t have known as the alignment can only be read by an extremely expensive computer system.They didn’t ask me for a review, they didn’t try to pretend it was done, they let me know straight-up directly and I could not appreciate that more. They even gave me a printout of the alignment scan results to see where everything is currently at.Don’t go anywhere else - you can trust these guys. It is not easy to find honest and genuinely trustworthy shops, but I found one today in Cobourg.I would give more stars if I could, and will be recommending to all friends & family to go to OKTIRE (for anything I won’t offer to do myself, lol).

Stopped into this place, on an emergency basis as I had a flat tire and was concerned I would not be able to drive the car any furtherwithout doing serious damage to the rim .The staff advised me that I need a brand new tire" as this one was beyond repair. The employee said that "nothing could be done today" as the employee stood there with his hands in his pockets

Lady at front desk took 10 minutes with another customer. When it was my turn for my scheduled appointment she said that is was now 15 minutes late and proceeded to ask a number of unrelated questions…she was quite confrontational and stated twice that it was 20 minutes past the scheduled time. This was 100 percent due to her behaviour. I ended up walking out without giving them my keys. This is after looking forward to this appointment for over a week.

Changed my snows to my summer tires. But didn't reset the sensors. Didn't have time to go back. But will definitely point it out next time I'm there.

I was recommended this place a while back and haven't been disappointed, the friendly service and experience from the mechanics is of high quality!I have been to this location around 4 to 5 times and have felt that every interaction was important to the company.Highly recommended for anyone in need of Tires, Rims and or Tire services!

Received a reasonable quote over the phone. Took car in at appointed time and was shown the condition of brakes before any work was performed.Technician John was detail oriented, knowledgeable and took pride in his work. Office staff was also very friendly and helpful and I don't believe they would replace any parts unless they needed to be replaced.Parts were reasonably priced and this allowed more time for labour to do a good installation. Car was road tested after installation to seat the new pads and rotors in, ensuring new brakes were safe.This was a refreshing change from a competitor that jacks parts up 250% , whips your vehicle in and out in no time and doesn't road test new brakes.The final bill was a few dollars below quoted price.Keep up the reliable, reasonable and HONEST work, we need repair shops like this.
