Our dog respected her immediately and she has shown us what a great dog we will have with some well directed training and a bit more consistent effort on our part. Barb helped us with our Great Pyrenees whom we love but her diligent guarding" was exasperating. Barb gave us some tools to help her "retire" from guarding. Our dog still finds the intermittent need to defend us from imaginary adversaries but we now have the tools to interrupt this impulse and stop the aggressive behaviour. As a result our big dog also now has far more humans that she considers her friends. Thanks Barb!"

Bark Busters method is simple and works! We had a great experience learning from Barb how to understand our dog and communicate with it effectively. We are so thankful to Barb for reminding us of the Bark Busters approach that We had be shown 10 years ago from Bark Busters when my Morkie Russell was a pup! We had apparently slacked off without realizing it!Russell is now 11 and Barb responded right away and we set up a zoom call. The advice has changed my life! We had a difficult time finding in-person training services during COVID. Some Googling led us to Bark Busters, and to working with Barb virtually, and it was a really great experience. Barb, in general, was so wonderful to work with. Her training program is very well-organized. She gave such great feedback and her suggestions made a huge difference in how we interacted with our dog and in how our dog behaved. She was extremely supportive, flexible, and available, even with services being remote. To compensate for a lack of in-context feedback, we were able to take videos of us doing various exercises with our dog (e.g. walking on leash, going in and out of the crate, waiting away from the door when someone knocked) and Barb was able to give us very specific, functional feedback related to our goals. We really enjoyed working with Barb and we greatly appreciated her training style!I also just want to thank Barb for being so supportive; we are first-time dog owners. We adopted our dog when she was 1.5 years old and, though we had done a lot of preparation, we did not anticipate how stressful it would be to manage the training. My stress dissipated hugely once we started implementing Barb's suggestions and feedback, and I really can't say enough about how much I appreciated her patience.

I would like to give a HUGE thanks to Barb with Sea to Sky Bark Buster’s for the training session she provided us. I always said that we need a MAGIC wand to help us train our hyper high energy lab Oakley. Barb gave us just that….the tools and technique to use as our magic wand!Our biggest goal was loose leash walking. By the end of the session Barb had trained us on how to do that, and two days later, I can say that our walks with Oakley have been a completely different experience… so much more enjoyable, less stress and no pulling! It is amazing how fast the training technique works and how fast Oakley caught on because we are using dog language to communicate. I am so happy Barb was there to show us the way, I only regret not knowing about her sooner!Barb was great at listening to our concerns and teaching us in a straight forward and clear way about dog communication and how we can use it to improve our relationship with our dog.It is so important to get right to the root of the problem and that is communication!!
