The Birds & The Beets
This is a great spot for getting cafe style food and drinks. You can get beers, coffees, teas and even boozie slushies. The bread is made in house so it’s very fresh and delicious. I love the breakfast sandwich, one of the better breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in this city. Overall I’m satisfied with the experience and would recommend and will be back for more delicious food and drink.

Very lovely spot with amazing prices. Not too far from Waterfront. The egg and avocado toast was so fresh and yummy. The bread was *chefs kiss*. Excited for my next brunch here and to share this place with all my friends.

I love their vibes, the menu selections are great. Always good breads.Coffee quality is up and down depending on who is making your coffee.I really like their chicken sandwich! Super tasty :)

Super cute cafe with lots of natural sunlight, plants and good energy. We got the hummus and pickles on toast, breakfast sandwich, a latte and orange juice - all came up to around $25-30 including tip which was sooo worth it.The orange juice was freshly squeezed and made to order!! :)Super friendly staff who gave great recommendations as it was my first time there. Would definitely be back!

Simple but good, clean menu. Great coffee and very relaxed space with tons of natural sunlight. What's not to love? There's also usually outdoor patio seating available. A good option for vegetarian and other dietary restrictions. It's nice to be able to afford something in gastown!

What an awesome find!! It is 100% my new fav place in gastown.The people working there are so nice and kind. They handle the popularity and the rush so well.Tried their coffee, tea, and their breakfast sandwhich. As far as breakfast sandwiches go this is by far one of the better ones. Their bread is all baked in house , the egg was not dry at all, and the sauce plus pickled onions made it very very flavorful.There was a decent amount of seating and big windows to enjoy those sunny days.Came with a friend and she agreed it was our fav of the coffee shops in gastown.There is also a cute section to buy knick knacks and fresh flowers.

This place is so cute. I found it by chance while I was waiting to get a tattoo across the street.I love the exterior and interior. It's very down to earth and homey. The staff are also super nice and personable!I ordered the breakfast sandwich which ended up being vegetarian. My first time here but I feel like most of the food items have no meat. Truthfully, I'm a meat person so if I had known there was no meat I would have chosen something else. But that's okay because it was still tasty and a huge portion.I also ordered a latte with oat milk. Delicious and smooth!

Popped in for brunch and got the poached egg with avocado on sourdough (bread was delicious), the banh mi tofu sandwich (generous), a substantial chocolate chip cookie, latte, and the freshest orange juice (must get).Cozy atmosphere and great service. Will be back.

Excellent avocado toast with poached egg. Very good cappuccino with oat milk. Casual atmosphere with fun exposed kitchen/baking area.
