Motonobu Udon
Went here for the first time. Got The NikuToji Udon. It was good but I couldn’t finish it because the bowl was big. On Another Note, I got an upset stomach and had to go to the washroom multiple times. Overall, I would recommend.

Great udon and dashi. I ordered the TenTofu udon and added extra noodles after for a small cost. And I had the eggplant which is a cold side dish (it was just ok... not what I expected). The one criticism I have is that the tempura got soggy pretty fast and was touching too much of the soup. Also the fried flat tofu piece was kind of big... was expecting it to be cut into two pieces for easier eating. The texture of the noodle is good... firm, a little chewy but not as chewy as those frozen udons you can buy. Would recommend udon lovers to try at least once!

A clean restaurant. The portion of food is great and the staff is nice and helpful. I am a little bit disappointed with the taste of Udon in this restaurant. Maybe I can try Udon in other restaurants because I like Japanese Udon for many years.

Motonobu Udon
My favorite Japanese Udon Restaurant!! I always order Udon with Prawn Tempura (you can order it on the side) and thin fried tofu. They make everything from scratch including soup base, udon noodles and thin fried tofu. Their noodles are so chewy and soup is very flavourful. They have variety of udon noodles even cold udon menus. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Have been here at least 3 or 4 times now!Udon has the right amount of bite and chew, the dashi broth is so good I've cleaned my bowl every time, onsen eggs are perfect, and the prawn tempura (ebiten") has a delicious light and airy batter.For the meat options

Motonobu Udon
I recently visited Motonobu Udon, a restaurant that specializes in serving freshly made udon noodles with a variety of toppings. My party of four decided to try out four different udon dishes to sample the menu.While the udon noodles were indeed bouncy, I didn't find anything particularly noteworthy about the experience. Perhaps it was just not my thing, but I didn't find the food to be particularly special or memorable.Overall, I would say that the udon is a decent if your seeking a quick and simple udon meal.

I wanted to eat the chewy noodles as i had in Japan. To be honest, I didn't expect too much but I was so happy that the noodles was really chewy and the pressed aburi salmon/tuna sushi was really awesome too! we ordered cold noodles so we def come back for summer time more.

The best udon I've had outside of Japan.Choice of toppings including tempura burdock, tempura prawns, kitsune, and many others. Can also add Japanese curry into the mix for $1.50 add on, which I highly recommend.Bonus - one of the chefs looks like the main character from Squid Games.**Update - order the shishito pepper tempura when they have it in fresh....so so good.

You have to try the Umeshiso EbiTen cold udon! It was so refreshing.They make their own udon fresh, and the noodles were delightfully chewy. Definitely the best udon I've had.

Motonobu Udon
Specialized in authentic Japanese udon, we really wanted to try the place and we were very happy that we did. The place is cozy and feels warm. It does get busy so you might have to wait after leaving a phone number to reach as inside waiting isn’t allowed. Food was excellent, something you would get from real Japan though not something unique. Price is reasonable and service was excellent. We will definitely return to try other dishes.
