I am very happy with the confidence and skill level I obtained in fades, and skin fades, on all hair types, after completing juniors barber bootcamp. We had a 10 week course with 80hrs of hands on experience. You definitely get out of the course what you bring into it. To get the most out of the course you need to bring clients in as much as you can, although sometimes provided. I would personally recommend. Junior is a highly skilled barber and pushes you to perfect your skill, with hands on coaching along the way.

So, I've been waiting a while to get in for a cut at Jr's new shop in the Fremont Village. It's been hit and miss for me to drop by when they were open so I decided to book online to see Jr. Definitely was worth it! The online booking is easy and quick. I arrived about 5min before my booked in time and was in the chair pretty much right on time. Friendly vibe and in the end a great cut, which is why you should go in the first place. Super happy to know they are up and running. 100% try them out.

I met Junior when he opened his first shop on Davie Street, Vancouver. From day one his ambition was a good quality haircut honouring an exceptional service. 7 years later I attended his barber school in Poco. I graduate tomorrow & now I can carry on the excellence cutting experience.

I would give 10 starts if I could! I wanted to learn how to twist and dread hair and cut a fade. I've never cut hair before and I left with all the skills I need to ACE these styles. Definitely recommend all the courses at Juniors Baber Shop, even for beginners like me. Thank you so much Junior!Update!It's been a week since taking the course and I think I really got the hang of it! Cleaning up my twists and really getting a nice look!!

Awesome place to learn how to fade!!! I took the 10 week barber boot camp, learned step by step how to fade, different types of hair too, and before my course was even finished I got a full time job at a barbershop. Thank you junior!

I enrolled in the 80hr course and in that time I was able to learn the fundamentals of how to fade hair, use a straight razor, do shape ups and cut hair confidently enough to get work in any barber shop. The course covers everything from how to be clean, your tools and how to bring in first time clients. Both JR and Manny are great a breaking down the steps to ensure your client leaves with a perfect haircut. The class is long enough that you get enough 1 on 1 time to practice and perfect your skills. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to become a barber or hone their skills
