Not sure what happened to this place. We used to go regularly for the fish tacos and salad. Went a few months ago and were told they do not offer that any more. Service was slow then and it was not busy. This time same. Food took a long time. Others were served despite arriving after us. Salad was dry, eggs benedict seemed to have hard-boiled eggs rather than poached, fish was greasy. The garlic fries however were wonderful. The gentlemen at the table next to us tried to order several items and were told they were all out of each. Took forever to get our bill, we were then give another guest's bill. Finally went inside to pay. Took another 10 minutes for them to figure it out. They said it was slow because it was so busy. It was not busy, there were many empty tables. Too bad that a wonderful location at a resort to be this lacking in service. We'll be looking elsewhere.

Very nice meals - much better than expected having looked at the regular menu.I had the evening special of Winter pasta and lobster tail. It included goat cheese, beets, parsnip and califlower and parmesan cheese. Prepared very well. Lobster was fine. Dish was not too rich, and beets and pasta do well together.She had roasted brussel sprouts with lemon. reduced balsamic, a hint of bacon and sea salt were best ever.Ceasar salad was very good.Seafood chowder with clams, salmon, was delicious.The Juicy IPA was great as well. All for $63 plus tax and tip.Bar area has good view of the beach, is airy and tables are very well spaced.Generous portions, we now have lunch tomorrow.

Great location, so beautiful and relaxing. The food was ok. My mom's a vegetarian and she felt very limited. I ordered the burger and the bottom bun was super soggy.

Brunch yesterday at Packers was serene. The view was fabulous and enough to come back to even without the delicious food.I have to admit I didn't enjoy my meal (chicken on biscuit), but the other meals we ordered (Monte Cristo and egg skillet) made up for it.Our server was wonderful .Looking forward to another visit soon!

Perfect dinner at sunset. Ordered a seasonal cocktail and a whiskey sour - both were good. For dinner, oysters and cioppino made for a delicious PNW meal. Views overlooked the surrounding mountains and water to make for a beautiful experience.

Spontaneous trip to Semiahmoo. Loved it! Stopped by the Packers Kitchen + Bar, enjoyed it all !!! Service was spectacular-Thank you Mary! Best oysters on the half shell as well as their seafood chowder. The view was something else ; beautiful beach, Mt Baker and Twin Sisters, Salish Sea, while overlooking White Rock B.C. Staying longer next time. A+

Best I could give this is 3 stars. Paid $23 for prawns and chips. The prawns were ok and the fries were a bit stale. The coleslaw had no dressing and was in a tiny cup (same cup they served cocktail sauce in). It was pretty much just garnish. So $23 for bar food. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job. She earned the 3 stars.

After kayaking a few hours, we came to visit for lunch. It was low tide and the view from every table was perfect. You can see the border marker in the water and White Rock, BC is the most prominent scene.At 1:30 pm on a weekday, I was surprised we were only offered brunch selections. No problem. It was a limited menu, but really good food. Hint: the burger with an egg is indulgent but done very well.There are no beers on tap at this time, but that is no big deal. They have a couple of local specialties in can. All the dark beers were unavailable. I prefer water while my partner prefers a nice IPA. We both liked our options.The flies buzzing the dining area are a bit disconcerting at first but we were never bothered by them while at our table.Our server, food, and view were perfect.
