The quality of the meat here is next level. The staff is not only friendly but very knowledgeable. The Chili Orange sausage is so good. Coming back for some steaks when summers back.

I cannot stress enough how much having J. Waldron in our neighborhood means to our family. They offer EXCEPTIONAL service, high quality products and an extensive variety to boot considering how small of the shop is. We buy meat here pretty much every week and have never been dissatisfied. They have hands down the best chickens for roasting as well as a variety of cuts of red meat. Our family also readily enjoys their frozen chicken pot pies as a quick pre-made meal for those crazy busy days. And of course it’s the go-to butcher to buy something special for the holidays or a special dinner celebration.If I could give more than five stars I would!

Outstanding products across the board! I've cooked turkey, sausage, chicken and pie from this little gem of a butchery, and it's all been great. Jamie knows his craft extremely well, and has assembled a very strong team on Barton Street.

I’ve gone to Jamie multiple times over the past year and a half for steaks, chops, and meat orders. Every time I go, I’m impressed by the staffs level of knowledge and customer service. Being close to the action while they prep the meat is a unique experience, and the quality justifies the cost. I intend on being a long term customer, and look forward to trying new cuts.

Just found out about J. Waldron butcher's a few months back. Amazing location, so close to home and the product is top notch, also helps me to stop buying from the bialrger grocery chains. The dry aged rib steak here is preem, absolutely delicious. I tell all my friends about this store. Great service and Butcher skills in store as well!

Best butcher in the city. Just moved to Hamilton and found them through instagram. They have been my go to spot for special occasions and everyday pick ups. Highly recommend checking them out and following them on IG for what they have going on.

We did a 20lb beef share and a chicken share with J. Waldron butchers and it has been all unreal. Highly recommend! Great communication, everyone is so friendly and so easy to pick up.We will be back!
