Blue Water Marine

At the end of each Michigan boating season, I have my boat serviced, winterized and shrink wrapped. After ten years of hit and miss shops, A boating friend suggested Blue Water Marine. This is where I have and will continue to have my boat serviced and winterized. The price is fair and stable year to year. The boat is always returned clean, in a timely manner and starts right up every spring. The shrink wrap has never failed, no burn marks and survives the Michigan winters outdoors. The staff removes and returns the batteries and covers, helps maneuver the parking lot and calls with updates. Very nice to work with.

I scheduled service for changing fuel filters for my diesel to coordinate with boat launch. They were very accommodating and reasonably priced. I needed some unplanned extra service, and they fixed everything! They are great for sailboats. I highly recommend them if you are in the Anchor bay area of Lake St. Clair.

Todd goes above an beyond. I could not figure out why my temp gauges were reading very high but the engines were not overheating and behaving normally. I took my thermostat housings into the shop as they had been joined with gasket seal. Instead of just separating the housings and giving them back, Todd took the time to assess the symptoms I had described and, with his notable experience, was able to determine the housings containing the stats were not grounding. I've worked on marine engines (self repair, even rebuild) myself and would have not thought to make the connection Todd was able to surmise. He described what he felt was the issue the next day. He had even installed new stats (I needed new stats as the existing were of the wrong temp) into the housings to ensure proper setting. Problem fixed. The gauges started reading correctly and temp was normal. I've used Todd for impellers as well...very quick response onsite! Some may say too expensive". Let me tell you something...when it comes to marine engines

Our sailing club needed a new transmission in one of our boats ASAP. We were forced to cancel classes due to the boat being out of service . Warren understood the situation, and did his best to complete the repair in record time! Todd was extremely helpful, as well.Our boat is now back in service, and the students were able to complete their training!Our organization has used BWM for many years, and we will continue to do so, when the need arises.I highly recommend Blue Water Marine for repairs!

Blue Water Marine has repaired my diesel boat engine a few times and I am happy to say they are prompt, polite, and work quickly. They know what they are doing and I trust them 100%.

I use Blue Water for all my boat’s service needs. Trustworthy people who perform the work fast and at a reasonable price. Last week they even gave me a ride back to my marina to get my car after I had dropped off my boat. They did not have to do that.

We were stuck in East Tawas,MI with a leakiing circulation pump.After searching the town and making numerous phone calls,i called Warren at Blue Water he had the parts and shipped them out that day. I received them the next day and was able to make repairs so we could continue on.

What a terrific job Bluewater did for our Meridian! Warren and team pinpointed the issue with our charger/power and resolved it quickly. We really appreciate the time and explanation that Warren gave us for the work on our boat. Also, for leaving the work area tidy. They did the job right. We will be using and recommending them in the future.

Great and quick support during peak season. My engine wouldn’t start and everything got fixed within days. Communication couldn’t be better.
