Close to the beautiful beach, generally clean and friendly, but watch out for the owners crazy wife. She was unhinged screaming at me and my family when our vehicle drifted slightly over the 10 km/h speed limit (11-13 km/h). This brought back traumatic childhood experiences and ruined the rest of my stay. People should NEVER be spoken to that way.

Family friendly, peaceful, quiet, beautifully kept up, activities for kids and adults. Short walk to the clean beach. And, of course, some of the best sunsets you have ever seen, no two alike.

Spent three nights at Aintree this summer and what a great experience! The staff and owners were friendly, respectful and kind which made our stay even better. The beach and surroundings are a sight to see. Lots of fun things to do on and off site in a clean and community feel environment. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a family adventure and a relaxing getaway. 10/10

This place stands apart from other campgrounds in so many times. It truly is a 'family campground' . This is the place you want to go if you want to enjoy a quiet vacation with your family. They do a fantastic job of weeding out the annoying, loud party animals. Its a quite park aimed towards families and as a parent of 4, I so appreciate that! Great park! Well kept! They are constantly cleaning the bathrooms. Can't beat the closeness to the beach either!

I stayed on a tent camping site for 3 nights and 4 days. This place is clean and well maintained, but I wouldn't recommend for tent campers. The beach is close and beautiful, but the wave is so loud around 2am~5am, couldn't sleep at first and second night. The tent sites are so close to each other, only devided by hedge for privacy, which is not good for big family, or group campers. The daily rate is kind of high, but campers should pay for shower, $1 per 7 min.

We stayed three nights. The sites are pretty, level, and private. The campground is quiet. Most of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers or permanent residents. A sandy beach on Lake Huron is within walking distance. The owners/staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I lost my wallet while in the area. It was recovered after I returned home. Sarah went above and beyond to send it back to me.

Nice camp ground. Beautiful trimmed hedges that create privacy between spots. The fire wood is a good amount at a reasonable price. I didn't appreciate the sewer hook-up that I paid for backing up every time a I dumped grey or black tanks, and was forced to use the drive through dump station when leaving the park after one week. My tanks are small, I suspect they need to invest in some sewer maintenance. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would go back if they fix the drainage problem.

I worked here for the summer for 6 years. I can say personally, from experience behind the scenes and from spending much time here over the years that this place is fantastic. It is actually exceptional.The overall feel for this park is wonderful. It is a quiet, peaceful place. I cant wait to bring my children here to camp again. It really is a wonderful place for kids. I've been at campgrounds before where the owners didn't care about disruptive loud party people, you know the type that ruin it for everyone else around them!.. you don't have to worry about that here. Its fantastic! Beautiful place !

Quiet, family friendly park with good amenities. Close to the beaches and you get a burn permit if you'd like to have a campfire on the beach. The only limitation for some would be how narrow the road ways are. We have a camper that is less than 20ft long and it was a really tight fit, requiring neighbors to move vehicles to help us get in and out.

Super close to the lake and a pretty quiet part of the beach, the friendliest staff, great/clean amenities and quiet after 11 so you can actually sleep!Surrounded by lots of great little restaurants and shops downtown, the perfect getaway!
