Laurie Lundgren Color & Design

Laurie was incredibly helpful in her recommendations for our exterior paint job. While we already had paint colors selected, she verified they would work nicely and, more importantly, laid out what should go where. This allowed us to get apples-to-apples paint bids since everyone was looking at the same scope of work. The end result looks fantastic and we are very pleased with how Laurie's recommend paint placements came together. All I can say is to trust Laurie in her process! You are in good hands.

Laurie consulted with us on exterior house color choices when we wanted an update that would refresh the feel of our home, & make it more modern. She did a great job guiding us towards the cool color scheme of grey tones to replace the dated & fading brown with red brick. We couldn't be more pleased with the new look of our place & would trust Laurie's advice for future projects as well!

My first encounter with Laurie Lundgren was at her seminar on paint/color at Monona Terrace Home Expos; I was so impressed with her that I signed up for an appointment on the spot. I had never used a designer or color consultant before, but we were moving into a new abode and I wanted to do it right the first time. It was one of the BEST decision I made. She has an amazing eye for color and is intuitive about style. When she came to our first appointment, she spent time walking through each room to get a sense of the space and asked pertinent questions about how we planned to use each room. She was organized and efficient and really, truly has a gift for this. The colors she recommended for each room were not ones I would normally gravitate towards and I was initially nervous about her choices, even calling her in the middle of a room-painting for an emergency consult. She patiently told me to stick with the plan and, she was RIGHT, it turned out better than I could imagine. Even my contractor was impressed!Once our remodel was completed, I booked a second consultation with Laurie to help me with the decorating phase. We had moved from a 100-year-old house to a new condo, so a much different setting... I knew I would have to let go of things that didn’t fit in this new space. She especially helped me select pictures that worked in the new space and offered constructive advice about size, scale and arrangement of furniture. My only reluctance with recommending her to friends, relatives and realtors is that it might be harder for me to get an appointment with her! :)
