A Facebook business page is not a reasonable alternative to having a proper website. Good job alienating those people who want to peruse your store online but don't have or want Facebook. Response to owner: If you have a website besides the Facebook business page, why don't you have it hotlinked on your Website link provided by Google? Not doing that doesn't make any sense.

I stopped by there last week just as he was closing up shop. I rolled down my window and told him that I would come back the next day, but asked if he had a certain life jacket. He did...and led me back into the store so I could purchase it.They always seem to have cool items that you may not see in other places. I purchased a gold pan, for example...and wax for my dogs feet one winter.Very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding service and knowledgable staff. Great selection of maps and outdoor gear at this shop. I was able to get a map book and large format map for the remote area I was traveling to. They have gold panning gear as well as other useful items for the outdoor enthusiast.

Purchased my 1st pair of snowshoes here this week. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I got the right pair for my size and where I would be hiking. I would have been lost on my own!

As always, a great place to get the outdoor equipment you need for snowshoeing, kayak & canoe tripping, some climbing, even your dogs, or a little prospecting while you're out in the wilds. Best map shop in town. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful long-term staff, and a laid-back atmosphere for your visit. I've been going to them for at least 2 decades. This time it was Flagging Tape and Bug Dope. I can recommend this shop without qualms.

Shopping here is always a fun and satisfying experience - it’s not a huge place, but you can walk around for hours and still find more cool things to buy. It’s one of my absolute favourite outdoors stores because they have a great variety of interesting camping accessories.They also laminate large items; we got a map of Quetico Park done so we could explore different trip routes using dry erase markers.Excellent products are one thing, but what really makes this place exceptional is the warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful customer service. They really know their stuff, and they make every visit a good experience.
