Dundas Manor Long-Term Care Home
Hannah north (kitchen worker) has shared with me some horrendous things about where she works. This is where she works. The level of elder abuse that happens behind closed doors here is baffling to say the least. They let a resident strike out for two full days before doing anything. They let unlicensed and ill educated people dole out narcotics. Protect your family from them.

There aren't enough words to express our gratitude to the staff of the Dundas Manor where our Dad was a resident for only 6 short weeks. In that time his care was stellar and he was treated with the utmost dignity and respect despite his physical and mental challenges. They joked with him, took immediate care of his every need and chatted with him in a friendly manner normally reserved for dear friends. Not once was he treated like a task to be completed or a burden. Dad took a steep turn for the worse one afternoon and the family gathered to spend with him what palliative time he had left . They moved him to a special, private room where we could be alone and spend quality time. Food and drink were brought in for us and each of his care staff came by to personally speak to him, with us, to comfort us - one very special lady even recited the 23rd Psalm in his ear before kissing his forehead and wishing him God speed. We were beyond touched at the genuine outpouring of love and support. If you've got a loved one that needs to go into a long-term care facility, THIS is the one you want! THANK YOU, each of you, from the bottom of our hearts. Dad passed in comfort knowing he was loved.
