Fantastic for kids. Nice and shallow and warm. Less busy than other local pools. Clean with ample change rooms.

Port Coquitlam Leisure Pool
Great pool for young kids. Staff was very helpful and kind. Water is shallow and takes a long time to get deep. Basketball hoop area, warm tub, small slide for toddlers and a big water table to explore. Our new favorite pool.

It is a tiny place and should have been advertised as toddler pool. No space for long distance swimming. They have so much space but the wasted it all on a waterpark that is tiny and very lame. There are much better ones to go in summer. They also have the most slipperiest floor and the uncleanest too. And the change rooms are very bad cause first of all, they are designed very badly and all your clothes get wet while you are showering. I hope they fix these issues. And lastlyits not just me. There are other people who have very similar comments as me. I hope that they do something about this stuff.

10/10 as a pool for small children.Two short 20m lanes, rest of pool is child oriented.Sauna is excellent, gets very hot. Top 2 amongst Tri-Cities rec centers. I'm not a steam room user, so can't comment on that.This pool loses a star because the change rooms were made for one person at a time! It's actually pretty nuts that they didn't future proof such a new leisure center by having an adequately sized change room.The family change rooms are plentiful.

Port Coquitlam Leisure Pool
The largest portion of it is a wading pool for toddlers. The hot tub, sauna and steam are nice and clean but no long, deep lanes to swim laps. Hours are odd and inconvenient. Kind of a disappointment for the Millions our city wasted on such an extravagant facility, instead of improving other areas, e.g. Poco bridges and roads!

Small, shallow, barely any swimming lanes. Why not just advertise you built a tot pool? So anyone over the age of 9 doesn't waste their time.

After just one time visit, spending Hundreds of millions of dollars of the taxpayers $, should call it kids pool only, too small pool for adults. The shower has no temperature and pressure water control. People are humans, what were they thinking when planed and did the work ? The water is toooo hot!

Great for old fat women wanting to add swimming to new routine ..The pool is warm and there is always room for laps in the lap pool.Love it

It's actually a great facility. And there are swimming lanes on the far side. It's mostly a wading pool. But the sauna is really nice and the steam room is better than anywhere else in Coquitlam. Kids love it.

Nice, new facility. Unfortunately that's where the pros end. It should be labeled as a wading pool. Deepest part is one side of the lap lanes at 1.6m. Only 2 lanes to swim in at roughly 15m in length. The rest is a small, shallow leisure pool which is good for small children and that's about it. Also overstaffed with 3 lifeguards for a small indoor facility. Waste of money.
