Dainolite Limited

The Dainolite light fixture I purchased was poorly/cheaply made. The first two fixtures I received were defective (broken or did not light up). The third one finally worked properly. This was a huge inconvenience as I had to make numerous trips to exchange these defective light fixtures, not to mention the added cost of having to pay my electrician to make numerous trips to switch out the fixtures. Add these additional costs in with the purchase price and you get extremely poor value for your money. Buyer beware!!!

5 stars to the customer service dept. I had a few fixtures that the chrome on a pin had tarnished. They quickly replaced the parts at no charge,It's nice to know they stand by their product.

I have an old Dainolite lamp&magnifier (20 years old). It served me VERY well for all these years until recently, when the little part that holds the head of the lamp broke, rendering it useless. I wrote to Dainolite customer service and they took the time to exchange emails with me and find out an equivalent replacement part (since the original no longer exists). They sent it to me for a few dollars+shipping over credit card. Thank you very much Elena and Dainolite. Very professional and it shows a company that cares about its customers. Very disappointed with customer service. Dainolite is high price low quality product. We purchased a 600$ chandelier and just over 1 year after purchase an arm on the chandelier has rusted. The chandelier was installed indoors and therefore there was no reason for rust; the arm clearly had a defect for it to rust in such a short period of time in a sheltered environment. When we contacted customer service they just told us that that we would have to send in the piece and repairs and all shipping would be at our cost. Very disappointing considering the price of the product. There's a reason why there's only a 1 year limited warranty, the product is not supposed to last beyond that.
