I used to go to markham Sheridan a lot. New location is bigger and more lively. Custom designs for entrance pot, everything purchased will have 30%up charge for design fees which I think is a bit expensive.

Area too small when compare to old location (Markham Hwy 7). You don’t see big plants. Even small plants are very limited. Store mainly focus on outdoor / patio furniture and decorations.

While not as large at the Sheridan Nurseries that closed on Highway 7, this location has a reasonable selection and knowledgeable staff. I was relieved to find this location, as it is convenient for me.I don’t know why reviewers are going out of their way to the Aurora location and then complaining about the size; the Scarborough location might be closer to them and seems larger than the Aurora location.

Way too much clothes and furniture and they removed a bigger section of tropical/indoor plants like bonsai that ALL the other locations have and what makes them a great store!! Also no venus fly traps! Lame branch overall hopefully they change for the better!!

I really want to give this place 5 stars I really do, but!It needs to be known otherwise. The inside of this location is by far the most dazzling.Very originuzed sections, and well displayed prices.Seasonal items and home decor are off to the right from main entrance.House plants WITH light tags to the left, and further last that are outdoor plants , herbs and annuals. As pretty this place is, it lacks the feel.Every other Sheridan felt, like a nursery.Dirt in the air, humidity was high, the smell of fertilizer. This new location, in time I guess will get there.Their outdoor selection is rather quite small compared to other locations but still contains the right variety.Worth the visit if local, but not worth the drive from 30 mins plus.

Nice new clean location. Was sad to see the Hwy 7 location close but this location although smaller does still have a good selection. Price is a bit higher but the plants all look healthier than what you will see at the big box stores.

The Aurora site is much smaller than the H7 site used to be. Very nice product with a great selection of higher end deck and patio furniture.

A big disappointment. Compared to the closed store on Highway 7, this one is more like a small department store with one-third of the space designated for furniture and clothing selling. There is only a very limited number and species of trees - none in-ground (I guess it is because of its store location and size). Sorry but none of those is interesting. Perennials are limited also in terms of number and varieties. The annuals and houseplants are like what other garden centres nearby offer - more pricier though. Back in older times, actually just less than 8 years ago or so, Sheridan was the leader in selling trees and other plants that those big boxes do not even have. Now is a another big box (or a small box). Before this store was open, I was excited. I expected that it would be in an area of Aurora like the now-closed Unionville store - a lot of open space and varieties of plants. Now it seems the garden centre in Canadian Tire or Real Canadian Superstore next door is more interesting and competitive.
