Charlford House Society for Women

I toured a few treatment centres and to me Charlford is the only one that felt like home right away. I spent 5 months in this wonderful house, made lifelong friendships and also learned how to be myself without drugs or alcohol. Charlford saved my life and it’ll always be my second home.

Charlford House is an amazing life saving residence. In the limited space available to write a review on facebook, I could not even begin to quantify how this residence has helped me and so many others. The values, life-long friends and family I have gained from my experience with Charlford House will stay with me forever. The respect and compassion provided while learning to stop the cycle of addiction was truly unbelievable. Thank you Charlford House.

Charlford house help give me my life back two years ago I was lost and ready to die after losing my child and housing and career. They showed and taught me what love is and I gained a family of sisters for life. Two years later I have my child at home, am back to work and coming up on 2 years sober. This place saves lives and saved mine and many others as well.

Charlford house saved my life 4 in a half years ago. When I walked inside I felt at home and safe. I am thankful to every counsellor that works there and all the amazing people that support Charlford house. I struggled with alot of anger and pain when I arrived there, I graduated after 11 months of staying in the house. When I graduated I was a different women then the girl that walked in there. I couldn't of been where I am today without all the counsellors, directors, and alumnis help. I highly suggest giving Charlford house a go if you are thinking of changing your life for the best.

I am so appreciative to Charlford house and all the counselor's wisdom. I came into the house broken and empty, through the magic of the house and the steps, I feel hopeful and grateful.

Charlfordhouse saved my life and many other women i know. I learned so much their and got a life back in order. It also helped me get my son back in my life too. Charlford house saved my life. Literally! This place is a Godsend. The groups taught me so much & the set of steps I was taken through there that I continued to do as I left is super thorough & will help to save your life if you’re serious about that. I highly recommend this place & will refer anybody who comes to me who’s suffering there since going there 1.5 years ago!

My girl recently entered this facility and I was 100% behind her decision to get sober and better her life. After little news about how she was doing I was contacted by the staff there. They seemed absolutely judgmental and dismissive of my feelings and my pledge to stand behind her choice. While i absolutely understand the need for rules that create structure that most addicts are lacking in our lives, the tone taken by the staff was borderline disgusting. They ended with an almost sarcastically delivered well if it's meant to be

Charlford house saved my life. They taught me how to live a happy and healthy clean and sober life. Still go there and give back. Love this house.
