our first b&b experience, and it seems like only downhill from here. excellent hosting couple accommodated allergies (difficult on a trip) and was sweet in doing so.room was clean and cute, well kept, and felt rustic and authentic. fireplace and tin ceilings are hard to find like this. breakfast was cozy and tasty, great start to the day.Lynn welcomed us with a custom made map of the area, and personalized suggestions, that only a local would know of.would stay again 10/10Thanks, Lynn and Rod!

It checked all the boxes for us - peaceful, tranquil and such gracious hosts - Lynn & Rod. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious and delightful. We will definitely be back and plan on a longer stay. The room we stayed in (Loft) was just lovely and we had such a sound sleep as well - the bed was very comfortable. Lynn was kind enough to provide us with a map with recommendations of places to visit so that was very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay - great location, gorgeous house, very comfortable bed, ample space in the rooms, lots of thoughtful touches (tea, coffee, milk, cold water, chocolates, wine glasses and opener). Breakfast was incredible, and they were able to accommodate for a gluten free meal as well - which was delicious. Also provided great recommendations for our time in the valley. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to the area!

We had a lovely stay at Farmhouse Inn -- six of us, ranging in age from 18 to 68. So welcoming! Lovely, spacious, well-equipped rooms (we had three) and lots of thoughtful touches, from nice robes to local tourist information. Very relaxing setting, and the breakfast surpassed its billing. Most importantly, the hosts are thoughtful, friendly, and well-informed. We were all really happy with our choice. We would definitely go back.

Lovely property. The room and bed were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the coffee maker in the room did not work. Big disappointment for someone who likes a good coffee first thing in the morning. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast and they were okay. They were not memorable. I did love the coffee cup, which is made by a potter in Canning. Don't miss her shop on Main St. I ended up buying a beautiful soap dish for my bathroom. Although a comfortable property, not five-star. I gave it a 4, but 3.5 would be more accurate.

Our first stop in a long vacation around Nova Scotia couldn't have started better:Lynn and Rod were a delight and gracious hosts. Accommodating our need for use of their freezer to hold frozen food we needed for the trip.Very dog friendly, not surprising when you meet their own dogs: one very large the other tiny, yet very amicable together.We stayed at the carriage house suite (the Annapolis" ) which was very convenient and comfortable: one bedroom and a large adjacent sitting area. Immaculate and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable

Such a quaint lovely place, the rooms were clean, spacious, and cozy. The owners were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was scrumptious and all home made. I hope we get to come back next year!

Beautiful accommodations and convenient location. Lynn and Rob are great hosts and willing to share local secrets about where to go and what to see. Breakfasts are delicious and well thought out. Beds are comfortable. Like they told us “when you own a bed and breakfast you need to get two things right - the bed and the breakfast!” They have it down pat!
