It has been a long time since we bought a new TV. Technology has changed drastically. My wife and I went to 2001Audio and Video on a friend's recommendation. Mick was very helpful in explaining all the different technologies. He gave us lots of time to think about our purchase and never tried to sway us towards one brand or technology. Very pleased with our purchase and great service.

It’s my first time shopping here. I went in because there was a promotion online and I wanted to check it out in store. Great location with excellent service! I had a wonderful experience here purchasing a television. The 2 associates were very helpful and very kind. I would definitely make a second purchase in the future.

I’ve been dealing with 2001 Audio Video for nearly 20 years now. The customer service has always been good, so no complaints there. My main issue is with the merchandise itself.The world has changed and that holds true at any audio/video store. Cordless speakers, voice activation, “smart” televisions—they’re all pretty much the standard now. And that’s where the problem lies.I’ve bought two televisions and lots of different audio equipment from 2001. As each year passes, the equipment gets more and more complicated and unreliable. I’ll try and watch my television and an unwanted pop-up message appears that I may be able to get rid of. Or maybe not. Fingers crossed it goes away on its own.As for my audio equipment, that’s been an ongoing nightmare over the years. Sometimes my Sonos app and/or Sonos speakers work, often times they don’t. Why? It could be any of a dozen reasons, but I’m not able to fix it. Does 2001 provide support? They can arrange for a man and his son to come and set up any purchases and fix what’s not working. The problem is that this service isn’t cheap. The last time they set up two new Sonos speakers for me it was less than half an hour making adjustments to the Sonos app on my phone. Total cost: $150. Everything worked! For two or three weeks. Then it didn’t. My audio set up is as stable as a house of cards.Right now I have no reliable television and half my speakers don’t work. Nothing can fix this. And the various problems are intermittent and thereby impossible to pin down and fix for good. If I arrange for the man and his son to come over every time things fail, they’ll be over every other week and I’ll be in the poor house because these fixes never last. The aggravation is just as bad as the cost.I’m not saying 2001 is worse than any other place. I’m just saying that this over-complicated and over-engineered new merchandise is unsound and unreliable. A permanent fix is impossible. So if you enjoy watching television and listening to music, don’t get rid of your aging TV and trailing speaker wires. The old stuff works. The new stuff doesn’t. I guess I’ll listen to my clock radio.

Purchase was seamless, however, there are not reliable installers available. It may be better to purchase your product elsewhere to ensure you can get your product up and running smoothly.

Genuinely had an amazing experience. Bought a TV online but needed is quickly. Multiple members of staff went into fix it mode and moved mountains. Had my TV an hour later. Chris and Anthony were both unbelievable. So much better than the big box stores.

For the second time in about 5 years I went to my local 2001 Audio Video location to purchase a Sonos sound bar and sub woofer.As usual the staff were very helpful ( Thanks Alwyn ) I had my purchase in hand and headed for home to enjoy. Sadly my TV is older then I thought , feeling defeated by technology I called the store looking for help. Alwyn to the rescue and adaptor later and we were up and running.

Very happy with customer service at this location. I was able to purchase a tv I was looking for with ease and help from Mick who was informative and friendly. Checkout was a breeze and had delivery done on the same night! It doesn't get better than that. Glad to have purchased here and supported local business.
