Gorgeous place with great food, but the service is absolutely horrible. Our waitress was super rude, terribly talking to us. We were shocked by such treatment and for the first 15 minutes, tried to guess what we had done. Later, we could tune ourselves into a good mood again, but each time she addressed us, she kept doing it in the same terrible manner with a hint in her voice that we should leave. Honestly, we were thinking of leaving the place a couple of times, talking to a manager or asking for a complaint book, but each time we felt that it was just a colossal misunderstanding. However, tips were not even considered as an option. After we paid waitress immediately left the table without asking if we needed a bill. So we came up to her asking for our bill. She, in terns, tried to say that the cashier was closed, but after we insisted, she gave us a bill. But it was the wrong bill!!! We asked her to get our bills instead, and she finally did it.One moment I am not sure about. I thought that tips are included if there are large numbers of people, more than 6. But there were just 3 of us, and we got included tips in a bill. Hopefully, it is just the rule of this place, and she did nothing with it.Also, I have attached here our bill, where you will find details about our waitress, tips and the time we were there.

Only been once and the food and service was good but it was like eating in a cave. They have the lights so low my entire table needed flashlights on our phone to see a menu and we could barely see each other. I know it's a historic building but it felt more creepy than interesting in that place.

Went to the Bank and Baron when it was first opened and it was great, went back last night for a date and was pretty disappointed with the food. Ordered nachos and they were a bit burnt with the cheese already hardened by the time it got to the table, ordered pickle spears and they were very dark and look like they were made in old oil.

Great food and service!! A perfect spot to watch a game and chat with the bartenders. Fair pricing and vibrant atmosphere is what makes me return.

If you want a quick service, this place is NOT for you. We asked a glass of water for 3 different staff and it took 40 minutes to get it and the bill took almost 30 minutes to arrived. The service was SUPER SLOW. The food was okay, nothing special. This was our last visit and won’t be returned again. The only good thing is a dog friendly patio and the interior of the building. I hate it when i have to give 3 stars reviews but this is my honest reviews.

Went in for a happy hour beer and bite to eat. House beer was good and great price during happy hour. Steak bites appetizer was luke warm and non edible. The waiter informed the chef that was sitting at the bar doing some planning with someone who I would assume is one of the Leaders. The planning was VERY important as the chef looked directly at me, had the $7 removed from the bill, and had the waiter apologize. I felt bad for interrupting his meeting. You know….us annoying customers that are so inconvenient when the restaurant is pretty much empty. Karma is funny. Got a call today from an ex colleague that was looking for a good venue in Calgary to plan an evening for 60-100 staff for drinks and food. I was able to give a few suggestions and one “do not waste your money” suggestion.

Delicious food with an incredible atmosphere. The building this restaurant is in used to be an old bank, so everything looks large and fancy. I had the fish and chips, and my friend had the tuna poké bowl. Our server was very attentive and polite. Washrooms were super clean.

They changed the menu since last month and took off the only two things I liked. I'm not sure why they traded 2 great vegetarian dishes for 2 with tofu (ick). And the a/c wasn't working so . . . not the great experience it was last time. Still, the staff is great and the building is amazing.

I ate here on Saturday evening and it wasn't busy. To start. This poor girl must have been covering for someone who called in sick because she was the only person looking after the entire patio and the West side of the interior!She took our order and each of us (4 total) ordered two drinks and two appies because it was happy hour. She didn't write down a single thing and nailed our order.The food and drinks were excellent. I was surprised for the price. Happy hour was a steal of a deal for a Saturday evening and the quality matched.I highly recommend this place if you are hungry, thirsty, need a good location and want to dine inside of an old bank. Make sure to check out the bank vault in the basement. They've done a great job of preserving it.

The ambiance Is beautiful. Great location and really nice inside. The food however... super small portions for what the price was, and my food wasn't even warm when I ate it. The plate was though.Ordered a dessert.. that was the smallest dessert for the price I've ever seen in a restaurant. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend anyone go there for dinner. Drinks, sure.
