I replaced my oil furnace with a gas furnace about 12 yrs ago but neglected to remove the old 200 gallon oil tank. To my sorrow, it began to leak slowly 2 wks ago. I located Ecometal Recycling on the internet and called them about my problem. Jeff said the tank must be removed and gave me a time and cost estimate, which I accepted. His 2-man crew arrived on schedule and proceeded with the removal task. I watched them work but was still mindful to stay out of their way. I'm an engineer, so I know good work and I must say this team was very efficient. After cutting up and removing this large tank,they spread an absorbent material where the oil leaked to soak up the oil and it worked beautifully. I have a very clean basement now, thanks to the team of Mark and Jay. I am very happy.

I had the pleasure of having the Eco Metal Recycling crew visit my house in Hamilton today. I contracted to have the oil tank, Oil fired hot water heater and boiler/furnace removed.The three man squad arrived on time and immediately went to work. They moved with precision and care and got a dirty, heavy lift job done with incredible efficiency. It was a very tight squeeze coming out and they really put their backs into it. They left the job without a trace, no damage to anything and did an outstanding job repairing the foundation where the fill pipes were.I was very impressed. If you need your old tank etc. taken care of don't hesitate to call Jay or Jeff and have them take care of you. 5 stars out of 5 easily.
