This old house is being lovingly restored to its original glory! We stayed in the rose room, and every little detail was beyond beautiful!! The house is very deceiving from outside, it's HUGE inside. There is a relaxing patio in the back which is beautiful and welcoming! There's even an outdoor fire and hot tub. This is in a small town so it quiet! The 2 nights we spent here had me completely relaxed, and refreshed! Kimmie and James are fantastic people! We loved them the moment we arrived! The breakfast is also fantastic!!!

My husband and I spent our wedding weekend at Maryhill Inn, and the stay was nothing short of exceptional.Located in a charming rural Ontario town nestled between Kitchener and Guelph, this bed and breakfast quickly felt like a home-away-from-home largely thanks to the outstanding management team: Kimmie, an artist with a background in theatre set design, and James, an all-around handyman with a background in the performing arts. From the moment my husband and I arrived ahead of our wedding at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, Kimmie and James moved mountains to ensure our two-night stay was relaxing and care-free.The couple purchased the Maryhill not long after they themselves got married at the inn in 2020. It’s clear that in the time since taking over, the two of them have poured everything they have into Maryhill – with fantastic results. The building retains its couch-house charm while offering modern amenities such as streaming services, a hot tub and solid wifi. The bedroom was cozy with an abundance of natural light, the beds were wonderful and spacious, and the en suite bathroom was spotless with all the modern fixings. We also quite enjoyed the soaker tub, located near the foot of our bed, after a long day. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, with fresh OJ and coffee on offer as well. While the hospitality was outstanding, it was the little touches that really solidified how amazing our experience was. Our wedding took place the weekend of Halloween ‘22, and Kimmie and James went to great lengths to dress the inn up with Halloween decor (they say they go all-out for both Halloween and Christmas), making for some fantastic photos and a perfect atmosphere. Both Kimmie and James pride themselves on identifying the experience their guests seek and providing the best stay possible, which by all accounts they achieved.Whether you’re looking for a weekend-long break from the daily routine or an extended nesting experience, the Maryhill is an ideal spot to lose yourself without ever feeling far from home. We look forward to returning many times over the years to come.

Maryhill Inn
A hidden refuge of rejuvenation and sanctuary; with a side of outstanding breakfast :-) I was visiting from the West Coast and wanted to stay somewhere other than a cookie cutter hotel. The Maryhill Inn was anything but that! Kim and James are a couple with a vision of restoring the history of this 1840 Stage Coach Inn, but with a calm, contemporary feeling. No dusty rose curtains here! LOVED my room. I stayed in the Garden Room, but I had no doubt each is as . bed, the organic bath salts. I was there for four nights. Each day I had a different breakfast, and each was outstanding. I didn't want to leave my oasis from the world. It will be my go-to point anytime I return to Waterloo County.

From the moment you walk in you feel like you have stepped into a hallmark movie. The atmosphere is fantastic. The beds are super comfortable and you can't hear the other guests. Breakfast was super yummy. The owners are extremely nice and just want to make sure you stay is the best. Highly recommend!!

The hosts Kimmy and James greated us with smiles and great info about the Inn and the amenities they have to offer. The garden suite was beautiful, especially the claw foot tub! Very clean and quiet. There was water bottles available and some popcorn, in case we needed a late night snack, nice touch! The location would be perfect if Maryhill had a busier town center, but it's central to St-jacob, waterloo and Guelph. The breakfast was so good, great way to start the day.I would definitely stay here again and would also recommend it to others.

James and Kimmie were so caring and made us feel like family. They are dog friendly and their dog Chester made our Zoe feel welcome as well. Already checking dates for Dec.

She loves B and B.From the moment she walked in to when we left. The room, fireplace, wing backed chairs and especially the hot tub and the four poster bed.The inn keepers Kimmie and James are one of the best parts of our stay.Breakfast was amazing. Our room very neat and tidy. We live in Alberta, will definitely tell our friends to come here who live in Ontario.

We stayed in the Blue room and it was a great experience. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and clean, and the little details like wine glasses and pop corn were very sweet! The hosts were amazing, welcoming, and it was obvious how much of their hearts have gone into making Maryhill Inn a great place to stay. To end this stay, we were served a delicious breakfast of crepes and cloud eggs. Would highly recommend, you won't regret it!
