THE GOOD:Love their coffee and teas. Excellent flavour and is exactly what I want. Food is pretty good, I had their cinnamon bun muffin with icing, which was delicious! The general vibes of the cafe are also quite nice, it has a bit of a clutter-core aesthetic, and the colours make it nice and comfy. They also have board games you can play if you bring groups, which is really cool;THE NOT SO GOOD:Its a bit cramped in there, especially if you have 3 or more people coming with you, often making it a hassle to get up. Its a symptom of their location for sure, because they can only do so much, so it is what it is for this one.It gets quite loud at peak hours, and the resulting cacophony of every conversation plus the espresso machine can make it hard to exist there sometimes. Investment in a bit of sound-deadening would be nice! Its pricey. Its definitely more value per dollar than Starbucks, but it's still a hefty price tag for certain items, especially the food. Its a bit more of a pain when you take into account that the cafe is right next door the the university, and their primary demographic is students, who are NOTORIOUSLY broke.OVERALL:While there are a few issues, Stones Throw is a wonderful little cafe nestled right next to the university, and is a great spot to relax, socialize and study(If you have noise-cancelling headphones) over a good cup of coffee. There's definitely room for improvement, and if the big issues were fixed, this cafe would be a perfect go-to spot for pretty much anyone!

Shout out to Kim & team at Stone's Throw Coffee Collective. They hosted my book Forever five book launch party on Saturday. The cupcakes were divine, spiciest carrot cupcakes around! Kim’s space is filled with characterand warmth. Even with 50 plus people, there was room to easily maneuver and a seat for everyone.Kim used her magical connections to fulfill my wish for a ladybug theme.Friends raved about her hot chocolate, both regular and frozen.Thank you Kim Beutler-Zacaruk for your part in making the event everything I wsnted and more!

Stones is my absolute favorite cafe in the city. The best food, lattes and atmosphere. The community engagement and awareness is wonderful. Kim and the staff are the best and Stones is like a hug from a friend.

Visiting from Vancouver. Had my first German Mocha, which was excellent. The cinnamon bun was also very good!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the mocha at Stone's Throw coffee shop, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. From the first sip to the last, I was blown away by the rich, chocolatey flavor and the perfectly balanced espresso. What really stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients used in the mocha. You could tell that Stone's Throw takes great care in selecting only the finest chocolate and espresso beans, and it really paid off in the taste of the drink.Overall, I would highly recommend the mocha at Stone's Throw coffee shop to anyone looking for a delicious and high-quality coffee drink. It truly deserves a 5-star rating and is worth every penny. I’ll definitely be coming back!In addition to the delicious mocha, I also have to mention that Stone's Throw coffee shop is an incredibly cozy and inviting place to enjoy your drink. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done.

My first experience at a coffee shop, It was great! I have always seen latte art stuff on tv and pictures, it was cool to actually have a latte instead of the regular black coffee I drink at home. Cheesecake was great! Atmosphere was great too. I liked the take one leave one bookshelf! Next time im around Ill bring a few of my books that I am done with.

I love Stone’s Throw. It has easily become one of my favourite locations for both food and drinks. I highly recommend their Breakfast Burrito with salsa and the Caramel Chai Fog.It’s a small notion, but one of the things I appreciate most is how they offer pickles on the side or not at all.If I had to say one negative thing, it would be it’s limited seating. However, the atmosphere and decorating certainly makes up for that.

Love this place! Very cute, warm, and welcoming. Great place to study, have a little meeting, catch up with a friend, or just get out of your house for a bit during the winter. I love their London Fog and their date squares and homemade granola bars are so good. Things I still want to try: hot chocolate with fireball and key lime pie.

No hours. Where does one go in this town during the evening when they want a coffee shop. The hours used to be good once apon a time... now they suck. Coffee shops used to be open 10-11 at night. This city leaves people with no choices for an evening crowd. Always loved the place but we never go now. Used to observe lot of students killin an evening doing homework when they could not handle 4 walls anymore. Reminded of me being in school sometimes the added people element made study nicer. I had always noticed that students liked the place in the evening. Probly got them away from the riff raff of roomies and dorm life. We noticed one couple the one sunday we biked over to the place. We inadvertently sat in the younger couples favorite spot. Funny actually.
