Cobbler's Corner

I took some dance shoes to him to be repaired, as I scraped some of the leather from the heel and it was just hanging there. I expected better from him. His repair job is no better than I could've done myself. I recommend checking the concourse for other shoe repair places.

Poor customer service. Misquoted me the price. Said lifts were 15-25$, then for two charged me 89.25$. Then took a rather long time to get the job done because he was backed up". Said it would be done on Monday

I will never go back, terrible service, was lied too, and he tried to under refund me when I wanted my money back. (story below)Was told it would take a week to repair my boots and when I came back in a week I was told he was really busy and guaranteed they would be done in a couple days. I was given guarantee after guarantee that they would be done by insert day here" and when that day came they never were. Finally asked how much progress had been made on them and he said that he had been working on them and implied they were nearly done

Hard to get a hold of, doesn't stick to timelines. They repaired several pairs of my shoes but there are definitely better Cobblers in Winnipeg. Poor quality and less than mediocre service. He isn't even at his stand in WPG Square half the time and you have to wait around for like 30 mins at a time.

I've taken two pair of boots here for some stitching and leather patching work and I am very impressed with the quality of the repairs!

Just like the other reviews on here. timeline keeps getting extended. When I finally did receive the shoes, the work was fine, but really needs to set better timeline with customers.

They do OK work, but their customer service is very, very poor. I had a boot I needed a zipper repair on for a trip I was taking. I dropped them off on the 2nd of the month, gave them my timeline, and was told it would take two weeks (plenty of time before my trip) and I would be called when they were ready. Three weeks went by - two days before I was leaving - and they still weren't done!! Why wasn't I called? What kind of business is this?? This is not the first time this has happened to me at this establishment. Fool me once..." I'll never be back."

The owner obviously does not care about customers. He was daydreaming when I was asking him about the price of belts and the price of belt alterations. I had to repeat my questions 2 or 3 times because he obviously did not care to listen to my request. He was focusing on something else instead of paying attention to my questions. Horrible customer service, worst sales person I have ever seen in my life. Incredibly difficult to deal with and I would highly suggest that no one ever patronize his business.

I had been here a couple of times in the past with no issues. Despite that, this most recent time was a disaster. I dropped a pair of shoes off and informed them I had a tight timeline and needed them by Friday. The proprietor said he would make it work, but to just come later on in Friday to make sure they were done. Tried to call the number on their business card Friday before heading over and it was disconnected. Walked over from home (a 45 minute round trip) to find that my shoes were not only not finished, but hadn't even been started yet. I gave the employee grief and expressed my frustrations, and his response was to become rude with me and try and hand me my money back. I told him flat out no

I brought my new $200 boots to Cobbler's Corner Winnipeg Square for a very minor calf job. After a MONTH of waiting, the boots were sewn too tight and no longer fit. Their solution was a poor sewing job with extra elastic and stretching them on the machine. RUINED!!! The owner did not budge on the price and was unapologetic. So $300 WASTED. AVOID COBBLER'S CORNER. There are 2-3 other cobblers in the concourse.
