Honestly it's easier to just bring your garbage home if you can. The staff here is borderline martial law. They are brutally rude, not helpful at all and charge you more to get rid of your garbage than the actual full prices added up of the items in the garbage. I was skeptical with all the reviews and they were right.

They have no weigh scales and only take cash. So you get charged whatever they think on that day.

The lady at the entrance was very rude and displesant. She ruined my day with her attitude and her tone.

Service is very well organized but they need to use a road grader more often (or at all) to get rid of the potholes

No debit, no credit, no change for cash and no receipts. Rude attitude

Lot of rules re hazard waste. Lotta questions and viewing in your vehicle now. Seems there is no trust anymore.Employees are off and on friendly at this location.

Can't calculate cubic yards way overpriced only takes cash for ridiculously high prices. Get some scales already with the money your ripping everyone off with.

What happened to basic human kindness? I am new to the area and this is one of the closest sites near me. I was told my dump card was not recognized there as it's only for Algonquin Highlands and this is in Mindin Hills. I explained I was new, asked if I could at least leave one small bag of household garbage that was leaking in my car and was told absolutely not. I asked if I could pay and was told absolutely not. I tried calling the number for the site and ended up with a town phone system that only gave me a recording of the hours, etc.then hung up. I hope Mindin Hills people are treated better by Algonquin Hills people when they are still trying to get settled and learn the systems. This kind of behaviour and not allowing a small, simple act of human kindness is how you create divisiveness. You need to do better and I will be following up with the town. We can do better as people.

This place was a total dump!!! Lol the people here were very nice. Helpful with everything. I can definitely see how people would give a bad review because it seemed like they were trying hard to be nice like it was almost fake. That being said my experience was great here. Thanks for the hospitality guys!
