This place is absolutely beautiful, you are in the woods with so much privacy you wouldn't even know you were on resort. They have firepits on each spot and a few made out on the beach for your use. Kayaks for rent as well.Katie the owner is awesome, very helpful and friendly. Her handsome son gave us ride down to our dome, then even came the morning we were checking out to help with our stuff back to the truck and give us a lift back too and very helpful Thank you both for everything we absolutely loved your place. You will see us again

We had an amazing time at Kayak Cape Breton. The Dome was beautiful and the water access was beautiful. We could not have asked for a better time.

We stayed here for two nights and had an amazing time. We rented the yurt which is tucked away in the woods with no one else in sight. You have views of the local pond and access to a private beach just down the trail. The yurt was very comfortable and super well appointed with everything you needs - water, plates, utensils, lights, solar power, bbq, etc. The hosts were very friendly and super helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. You can rent canoes and kayaks for $20 a day and it's well worth it to explore the pond and lake. We lucked out with clear nights and the full milky way was visible, which was an amazing bonus.Aside from the yurt they have a dome, boat house and trailer all for rent, each of which is secluded on this massive property. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone staying in Cape Breton!

Beautiful location. Comfortable boat house with everything you need to aid in the creative flow of a project.Very quiet location, close to the shoreline but hidden in the birches.

We had an amazing stay in the dome, went to sleep to the sound of the waves in the distance and woke to beautiful views. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with outlr stay. I cannot say enough great things, it is a beautiful LGBTQ+ friendly space, with lots to do outdoors

Nice, private and quiet. Very clean and well equipped. Nice view of the pond, enjoyed our time there and will be back. One down side is the shower is a little tight for a guy 6 foot and 240lbs.

Katie and Matt are incredible hosts! We had a great time with our kids here for 3 nights in the trailer. So serene and great views of the Bras d'Or Lakes from various spots around the area! The accommodations were clean with everything you need provided. We will definitely be back!
