My family was visiting Vancouver from Montreal last week, and was introduced by our friend to Seafood City because it sells fresh fish straight from Japan. We were looking for sashimi grade fish, particularly Hamachi. They don’t have it at the time, but they introduced Shima Aji, which was pretty close to what we were looking for, and we were glad to follow their recommendation. We also purchased Bluefin tuna, and of course the toro was very fresh. We were very happy with the quality of sashimi grade fish we got there, and will definitely visit the place again the next time we go to Vancouver. Thank you Seafood City.

Seafood City is our go to place for fresh fish. They have great variety and friendly service. We can also use our own containers.Saturday mornings are usually best to get fish for sushi (usually we get hamachi, chutoro, hotate and ikura).

Came by Seafood city to get sashimi grade fish. The quality is really good, and the price too. I plan on coming back to try their other fish :)

Found sashimi grade fresh fish from Japan !!! They detailed clean and filet deboned it !!! Great place for some unique seafood ingredients !!

We’ve been patrons of this excellent fishery for nearly a decade. Lots of really fresh seafood of many descriptions. Brian and Ray run an outstanding enterprise, quality is a prime factor. The barbecued salmon is to die for. Amongst many other seafood stuffs, too numerous to mention. Professional and friendly advice too.

Fresh fish haven ! Started my day with fresh uni and wasabi tobiko. Gave them an extra star for the service . A young man who goes by the name , Happy , served us with a smile and went the extra mile . Located in Granville public market in Vancouver.

These guys helped me out for years, finding unique fare for both my labs (I am quirky Bio teacher) and for family meals.They dilligently call if your on a specific list, they care about their product.I am a very happy patron, and plan to be for years. Seafood City is a great business that deserves your business and patronage.

I trust Seafood City for its premium fresh live Dungeness crab. Friendly and helpful staff in a clean working environment, they’ll package that healthy, happy, juicy meaty crab for ya. Around $20/lb in late July 2021. Paid parking outside I think was around $1.40 for 30 minutes. Thanks guys the family LOVED the crab I steamed up for dinner.

I had a pleasant experience there even though I just wanted to buy so little sea urchin. After knowing that I wanted to try sea urchin for the first time, the guy there offered to sell me a section of the tray, which he needs to cut the portion off of the tray. He prepared a little bowl along with a fork and knife and condiments for me.
