Tobin Lake Motel

Not a very clean hotel and too much riffraff in the back alley didn’t feel comfortable leaving my work truck there

The room beside us had a blood stain on the window curtains. Also, our room had a very disgusting shower and bathroom. The breakfast was terrible, as it was just toast, coffee, and badly bruised apples. Would rather stay somewhere else.

Rented a room for one night on a fishing trip to Tobin. I ordered take out and went and got my food before entering the room, we ate our food and went to crawl Into bed, my girlfriend noticed blood on the pillow case, upon further inspection we found blood and pubic hair on the sheet as well and blanket. We went and talked to the front desk, he was rude and didn't believe me, I finally got him to come have a look, he blamed it on me and said that I had used my room and that there was nothing he could do. Stay away from this dirty place, there is a few other options available in nipiwin, clearly these guys don't wash their bedding after the rooms been used.. Gross

Checked out the rooms down the street, lots of crack heads. This place is crack head free! However the man's eyes rolled back into his head and turned into dollar signs when we mentioned 7 people in 2 rooms. Kept trying to up sell us and then charged $10 a person plus the base rate. Rooms had a mini fridge and microwave. Rooms were nice and clean. The free breakfast was just toast and coffee.

Won't clean the rooms or make the beds and the alley is sketchy as can be. Owner will come into your room middle of the night, horrible.

The Tobin Lake Motor Inn" was a most Excellent

Extremely rude owner even though you only have to interact with him once to check in, starts yelling for no reason. Disgusting rooms with their body wash, shampoo etc. Had to stay at this hotel for school but would NEVER recommend, glad that's over.

It was a nice stay at a fair price, it was much cheaper than the motel in carrot river, cheaper enough I fact that it was well worth the daily commute for the week to carrot river where I was working. The rooms were clean and bedbug free, my only real gripe with the place however was they were pretty lazy with restocking the rooms supplies, they only restocked the cups twice in the 2 weeks I was staying there despite the fact that I would use all three cups each day (I was sharing the room with a coworker) they also never once refilled the soap shampoo or conditioner even tho they were very low when we got the room and I quickly ran out if conditioner and had to go buy my own. If they fix those two issues by my next stay I will rate 5 stars. Please give a like if you found this review helpful

When reserving a room online beware of a greasy scam at this place. Owner tried to charge me more than the reserved price when checking in. His claim is that only one room is the advertised price and it's already booked. I showed him my reservation but he refused to honour the price even though it still showed one room available at that price on both booking and priceline. Greasy....
