Well maintained hotel Nice place to stay comfortable bed and very pleasant stuff and we continue to stay there every time we go to Calgary in the last three years

The room was dirty and smelt like urine. We asked for a kitchenette but all we got was a fridge. The fridge was moldy. The staff was very rude. We paid $100 deposit but only got $40 back because our son came for a visit in the morning. Apparently no visitors allowed. That was our reason for coming to Calgary so we could see our son. I will never stay there again and don’t recommend it. We moved down the street to days inn and will be staying here for the rest of time in Calgary. I give days inn 5 stars.

I didn't like the room too dark, the fridge is as smelly as possible, the bath is terrible, and the microwave is dirty and smelly

PLACE SMELLS LIKE URINE!!!! I was charged 15 dollars for a visitor, then we went to have breakfast and came back later on to the staff saying we are going to be charged another 20 DOLLARS because the visitor was here longer than an hour, it’s during visitor hours none the less, AVOID AVOID AVOID

If you want an experience like the movies, this is the place! The movie is Requiem for a Dream though, so be prepared. The room was old, dated and smelled like smoke. It was the most run down room I’ve ever seen in my life. The mattress was hard and the blanket was essentially a worn out piece of felt. The tub was gross and stained, the enamel was in very poor condition. I didn’t feel safe here whatsoever, and heard a car alarm going off first thing in the morning. The lady at the front desk was rude and combative when I was checking in. If you’re up for the LA skid row experience then go for it I guess.

Although somewhat cheap (~$150), it's still very overpriced for what you get..Stayed here mid July. At check-in, the first question the staff had was if we smoked. We do not and I told them so. We check in and proceed to the room. On our door, like all the doors, was a massive no smoking sign. As soon as we enter, the room was dingy and reeked of cigarettes. There was also a mirror resting against the wall on a kitchen style cabinet and not on the wall behind it (glue marks were present on the wall for where the mirror was intended to be). I proceeded back to reception and told them about the smoke. The same staff member came to see the room. Upon entry, he asks if we brought down the mirror. I told him and he knew, we had just gotten possession of the room 30 seconds earlier. About the issue, after trying to convince us it wasn't that bad"

Our experience was not good. The room was not inviting. The towel rack was partially disconnected from the wall. The bed sheets looked dirty, but upon closer inspection, they were just stained. Still seemed unclean. They were changed upon request. Only 2 towels, and they were also stained and did not look clean. When we left in the morning, we just left the key in the room. Later we discovered that not our whole damage deposit was returned. After contacting the Inn, we were told that the key was not found anywhere and we would have to partially pay for the cost of new locks, because there was no key left. We were very sure we had left the key. All in all, unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience.
