I’ve been going to this clinic for massage therapy with Josh for a few months now. I was a little hesitant at first because I’ve never had a male therapist before. But the minute I met Josh I felt his profesional approach and made me feel very comfortable, he loves feedback from his patients and that makes for a great experience during the visit. I don’t see myself going anywhere else, love Empower Health Clinic!

I had excellent prenatal massages with Tricia Lovegrove. She was very knowledgeable about prenatal massages. She ensured that she addressed my specific concerns as well as common ailments during pregnancy. She was also very careful of avoiding certain pressure points that could trigger contractions.Tricia mostly used lighter pressure for me which was appropriate given the late stage of my pregnancy (38 & 39 weeks when I saw her), but I could sense that she would be great with deep pressure massages if that's what you're looking for.Overall, Tricia is a very skilled massage therapist with great bedside manners. I only wish I had started seeing her earlier in my pregnancy. It was also an added bonus that my midwife shares the office with Empower Health so it was very convenient to have both appointments taken care of in one trip.

I have been receiving massage service from Josh for almost 3 years now, and I was never disappointed. I am a professional dancer who struggle with injuries, he saved my shoulders and back so many times! Josh is a real professional who definitely knows what he does.

Yesterday I had my first visit with Tricia Lovegrove, RMT. This was, without a doubt, the best massage I've ever had. I had a bad car accident years ago and require deep tissue massages for the chronic back pain. If you're seeking a good, deep massage, Tricia is your girl! She really gets into the tough spots and was amazing.

In my humble opinion, Tricia Lovegrove is the best therapeutic/healing RMT in Vancouver. There are many licensed RMTs in Vancouver but she truly has a gift - a wide range of skills and unique seeing hands" that locate the source of your issue quickly. My treatments with her are cost-effective (because so few are needed to solve my problems) and highly productive. It will often take a week for me before I assess that my issue will not go away with home treatment before I schedule an appt with her. After the appointment

I found the most amazing counsellor at Empower Health. Her name is Melissa Turner. Melissa listens to where you are and what is causing you concern or anxiety and with her astute awareness of what is needed in the moment, she is like a magician in helping to make sense of lifes complexities. I have had three sessions with her and she is worth every penny for how impactful the outcomes have been during my work with her. If you are looking for a skilled counsellor who is compassionate, caring and provides a safe atmosphere to do your work"...look no further! Melissa Turner is amazing!"

Empower Health has genuinely changed my life. I started out here by going to Tricia, an RMT who I cannot recommend enough. She is absolutely amazing. Her massages are deep and very healing. I then started to see Kelly, the acupuncturist, who is incredible and helped me tremendously with multiple ailments I came to her with, including insomnia, anxiety, low back pain, headaches - and she helped me with every single one of them. I also see Shama now who is indescribable. This is a very special place of incredible healing.

My recent massage with Josh was the best i could have hoped for! I was in soo much pain...my back locked on me completely! It was painful to even sit down. Within an hour i felt the tension releasing and by next day my back pain was just a memory. He is just amazing and very knowledgeable at what he does. Highly professional, asked the right questions and listen to what i needed. Even though i would selfishly keep this a secret so he would be available, I can't recommend him enough!!!

Have been in to see Josh for massage a few times and he is the best! I really feel my treatment is personalized, he is attentive and focused and I appreciate that he checks in regularly to make sure I get the most of my hour. I've also been to Empower for Naturopahy and Acupunture and those practitioners are equally excellent!

If I could go back in time and choose a different clinic for Ketamine therapy I would. I recently finished the 3rd and last ketamine session and I am left feeling worse then when I started. Everybody reacts differently so I cannot blame the clinic for that. But I do believe things were handled in a sub par way. I don't think this clinic has any bad intentions but mistakes were made. I'm hesitant to get into details but at the end of the day I feel I was taken advantage of.
