Simply Zen

Simply Zen has always been one of my favorite spots on Ottawa St. to check out. Came in today after getting back into incense and was blown away by the amazing selection. I just purchased some Shoyeido online thinking I couldn’t find it anywhere and Simply Zen carried the ENTIRE line (or nearly). Lot’s of other fun and unique stuff too, with fantastic prices all around. Incense was cheap between $2-8 depending what you needed. The Shoyeido was much cheaper than what I paid online and that was even after 10% discount. I’ll be coming back to stock up more!

I LOVE this store! The staff are incredibly kind. All of the items are fantastic. I buy everything from incense and crystals to my favourite teas and even some natural beauty supplies.I also buy a ton of gifts there for friends and family. All of them much appreciated. Great store!

I find myself stopping by Simply Zen simply to say hello to Honey some days. She is a warm and kind presence and always seems to be in a good mood. My mood is instantly lifted when I walk through the front door. If I can't find something, I just ask and she helps me locate options. She offers a large array of items (food, bath and body, mind and soul) for the health and lifestyle conscious person. I often feel a sense of zen within her store. I will be back!

I love this store and everything they have to offer. From crystals to plants, oracle/tarot cards, journals/books, oils and soooO much more.. Simply Zen is a treasure. It is peaceful and the owner, Honey, is always extra helpful. This is my go-to store for getting gifts for friends (and myself!) I could spend hours looking at everything. Thank you, Simply Zen!!

Simply Zen is, unequivocally, the hidden jewel of Hamilton. The owner and staff are extremely calm, kind and knowledgeable about their products. The perfect day off for me is visiting Ottawa St. and this peaceful little treasure chest; you can find so many things zen! Definitely a cool spot to purchase special gifts for my friends and family. The vast array of self-care items are definitely a treat. As a passionate home cook/baker, I love Simply Zen’s offering of vegan/vegetarian groceries. Many a time, the owner has helped me find a key ingredient to a vegan dish ie) black salt. I highly recommend checking this adorable place out if you are ever in Hamilton!

This store is my go to for gifts for me and friends/family. From baby gifts to clothing to household needs to yoga needs to food items (including hard to find vegan goodies) to crystals and more!!!! - all packed into this amazing store. I love how the store owner ensures the products in the store are sustainably sourced and fair trade. The aura of the store is so positive that it is hard to stay away.

I enjoy peeking into this shop for it's unusual finds, from gemstones and calming rocks and water features, to kitchenware and books. I even found a beautiful green floral summer dress in the back that I was able to try on before purchasing. The staff is so kind and seems to pick up on whether I'm in the mood to chat or look around without assistance. Definitely a nice shop to pop into on Ottawa St. Please enjoy this gem as I have!

Just adore the owner, Honey. She always makes me feel calm and peaceful, even when I'm very stressed. Huge selection in store, you are bound to find something that calls to you.
