A great place for those looking for a light delicious meal and a drink away from the hustle and bustle of the district! Not for those on an empty stomach looking for a full meal!Food 4/5As this is a tapas place, it’s a great place for delicious appetizers that pair well with alcohol, however, if you are looking for a full meal, then I would recommend looking somewhere else! It’s a great place to come and talk while sipping on recommended alcohol and tasting the different appetizers. There are a wide variety of delicious dishes on the menu, but my personal favourites were the fresh crab, avocado and salmon roe cannoli and the sprinkled truffle egg yolks. Both were absolutely delicious.Service 4/5Kind and fast service. The staff member that served us was very accommodating, and happily recommended different menu items and alcohol that paired well with each dish.Interior 5/5I loved the interior. Not only did it fit the metallic and brick vibe of the district, but it also managed to retain a quiet and calming atmosphere. Maybe it was the lights and the glass? Or maybe because the interior was so spacious! Anyway, I loved it!

Service was friendly and professional. The ambiance is great and the food was delicious! My favourite was the avocado and crab salad. I’d say it’s a must-try. The east coast oysters with shoestring fries were great but pricey for what it is. The tortilla de patatas was yummy and perfectly cooked. Lastly, the acorn sausages were great but felt like it was missing something.

The tapas dishes were absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend trying this place. Service and ambience was good. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the culinary experience and fab flavours! We tried the shrimp croquettes, egg yolk truffle, beef tartare, crab on toast and another egg yolk dish in a glass.

Came here on a Sunday night to try this restaurant based on its Michelin nod (or did it get a star?). It's right in the distillery district and easy to find. The ambience is really nice, absolutely loved the decor, furniture and overall feel. We decided to go with the a la carte menu and while I can see why they got a nod, I do not think it is for me. The portions were really tiny and mostly alright taste profile-wise. I really enjoyed the shrimp croquetas and the crab and avocado item (I do not recall the full name). It was overall a good experience

Spanish tapas. Good location in Toronto distillery district. Food was excellent but its main course meal was surprisingly small portion that I took off One Star.

Nice and cozy atmosphere, inside gives you a modern Spanish tapas restaurant, feels like you’re in Spain. It is pricey, but the food does justifies it, so I am hoping it retains its quality. Great for drinks as well.

My favorite restaurant in Toronto! Best eggs and best scallop I've ever had. It's worth the price, and better quality than other places in Toronto that charge more. I was surprised to be charged $8 for water...at that price I would have just gotten a drink. But the ambiance and service and presentation were great and I wish I came back here instead of trying some other fancy places downtown.

Spontaneously made a reservation at Madrina as I was working nearby and meeting friends after — was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything we were served. Tried the tasting menu for $84 a person and for a semi-picky eater, tasting menus can be tricky. But I enjoyed everything in the 10-course meal! My favourites were the tuna cones and ham croquetas. Our group found seating a little squishy but the service was great.

It is the most unique and impressive restaurant in the Distillery District in my opinion. Excellent service, beautifully decorated stylish dining room, delicious food. It is a tapas bar so you need to be strategic or it will be expensive; alternatively just opt for a tasting menu and let the chef compile a 10 course dinner for you (don't forget to order a sangria Roja for a full experience). Highly recommended, it is simply one of the best Spanish restaurants in the city.
