My fiancé and I recently got our engagement photos done by Brian Ly. It’s always nerve racking going into something new and not knowing what to expect or how to come across naturally when getting photos done. But Brian quickly put our worries at ease and explained his process to us so we knew what to expect before the session even started. Throughout, Brian gave us good prompts to help us get out of our heads and stay in the moment! Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone to get their photos done with Brian! We are so excited and can’t wait to see our photos!!

We had a 1 hour engagement photoshoot with Brian. Usually I am very nervous in front of the camera. Brian made me relax right from the beginning. His funny and unexpected prompts made our experience fun, interesting and unique. Brian arranged shots and positions with great care and professionalism. Whether you want professional shots or just want to have a great time taking them, Brian is the person to go to!

Having never been in front of a professional camera, my fiance and I were nervous about going into our engagement shoot as we did not want to look awkward or posed in our photos. Within the first minute of chatting with Brian in our initial [virtual] meet, our worries immediately melted away! Brian was able to express his vision for the session with us in detail, and asked what we would like to happen during our session as well. It was clear he wanted to take our wishes into consideration to craft a fun and meaningful session. While taking our photos, Brian was able to keep us in a relaxed and natural state the entire time by talking to us, telling us to chat and share stories with each other and more. His prompts were perfect and always came from a place of care. Both myself and my fiance commented on how much fun we had with Brian during our session, and how all of our initial worries were for nothing. Brian is an extremely professional, dedicated, creative and talented photographer who is able to capture the perfect moment with his camera with ease!

Brian was so much fun to work with! When we had our initial meeting, Brian took the time to get to know my fiancé and I; he asked how we met, how he proposed, our vision for the engagement shoot etc., anything to make our day special. I kept going back and forth on location and Brian was so patient with me and provided all the different possibilities for each place.I told Brian that I didn't want our engagement photos to be typical and he made sure it wasn't. There weren't any forced poses and he made everything look so natural; my fiancé and I laughed for the entire hour.Brian took his time to make sure he got the right shot. I asked him to redo a few shots and he was more than willing to do so.Brian is your guy if you're looking for a professional AND friendly photographer!!!

Going into the engagement shoot, I was nervous about how the session would be run and what it would look like. The concept of having photos taken in a public setting was always something that made me slightly uncomfortable. However, Brian's excellent ability to communicate and his professionalism from the moment he introduced himself to us was very reassuring. Brian was very quick to address any concerns we had and assured us the photos would look natural. He constantly reminded us to focus on the things that my partner and I share; what made us fall in love with each other, our hopes, dreams and favourite meals! Most of all, he continuously encouraged us to have fun with the shoot. Brian went above and beyond our expectations, always looking for that perfect bit of lighting or new angle to make us look our best, all while making us feel comfortable and constantly checking in to make sure we were enjoying the photoshoot.At the conclusion of the session, my partner and I discussed how easy the engagement shoot was and what a pleasure it was to work with Brian. He is personable, caring, and truly dedicated to his work. I would strongly recommend Brian as a photographer for any events!

I was very nervous to take our engagement photos because we have never taken professional photos before but Brian made us feel so relaxed and confident in front of the camera. He is very easy to talk to and you can tell he is very passionate and knowledgeable about photography. Can’t wait for Brian to capture moments on our wedding day!

When we were deciding on a photographer, we wanted someone that could make us feel comfortable and give us direction to ensure we captured the best moments. Brian spent an intimate afternoon with us on our wedding day and got to know each of our friends and family. This was great because Brian was able to pick up on each of our personalities and he used that to get candid reactions for each of us! Our wedding day was perfect and Brian was the ideal photographer to capture some truly remarkable photos of our special day.
