Dollarama

I know the store is new as of the time I’m writing this but this is a great Dollarama! Very convenient location. There use to be two businesses here, Dollarama takes up the space of both so it’s quite large inside. The aisles are clean and wide, the store is very well lit, and it’s well organized. This Dollarama has self checkouts which is really neat. They are easy to use and well put together. My kudos to their IT/infrastructure team; great job! Thank you to Dollarama for investing in more IT jobs. Lots of parking as it shares a huge lot with a bunch of box stores.

The employee standing beside the checkout just told me I have to use self-checkout. Sorry Dollarama, I can go elsewhere and would recommend you educate your staff on customer service.

This is one of the most organized and clean dollarama locations opened anywhere I've been. Great team at this location!!

This is the worst chain ever i have seen. They are selling damaged product with no return pr exchange policy. I bought 4 led lights from here which had same price as walmart and other stores. Lights were not useful as they can’t connect to each other in straight line. I also bought one photo frame for 5 anf half dollar and it was broken. I came to exchange or return but the store manager said they dont have any policy for return or exchange even the product they are selling it not working or if they are damaged. This is not a dollar store which the price of every item is just one dollar. They are even selling defective items for 5 dollar with no exchange. I am bot going to come back in dollarama annywhere in Canada.

Its a dollarama. I do really like that this one has a self checkout.

It's in a convenient spot but 3 works standing around expecting everyone to use self check out.... there was a line no reason they didn't have a someone on check out I guess that would mean work. not returning

Bought a gift card from them, wasn’t a valid gift card, they didn’t want to refund me when the card didn’t work. Expected me to wait in Store for them to call their head office. Then explained I can’t be refunded unless I call the gift card 1 800 number. Not the first time I’ve heard of this happening at this dollarama. Don’t buy their gift cards and don’t expect them to help you when you need assistance

EXTREMELY terrible service.It seems that you have no choice but to use the automatic teller, and as we came to the check out, the clerk barked at us 'THOSE are clean!' as we were wondering where to go.At this point, we then scanned the first item and put it on the wrong side, while she hovered, clearly ensuring we stole nothing.She then barked again 'You HAVE to put it THERE!' so we tried to scan another item, it didn't scan. She sighed in frustration at us and we nearly walked out.A: I don't work at Dollarama. Therefore I am not 100% familiar with how to use the checkout.B: If you plan on eliminating ALL checkout people, I will no longer buy her. People need jobs - even the cranky cashier who was rude. Obviously she couldn't handle the volume of 4 people in the store alone - she was EXTREMELY put out by having to do anything.C: If you INSIST on using self checkout only, MAKE IT EASIER. Note which side to place your items on. Its been clear at every other location I've used - not this one.Terrible experience - Dec 30, 2021.

This Store is very good, i like it because their prices are cheap.

Great store. Lots of stuff to choose from. I like that it has a self checkout.
