Guildford Recreation Centre

I wouldn't recommend this place especially if you have kids , very unclean! Rude staff and have the time most pools are closed. Also watch out for people stealing your stuff.

I love taking my daughter to this pool has its pretty much the best pool in all of Surrey for indoor pools. We have a great time whenever we go which is usually Saturday and on New Year's I did not know that it was closed early and we got there at 3:00 in the pool by 3:15 and heard the announcement that it was closed by 4:00 having come all the way from downtown Vancouver we were a little disappointed but I knew it was my fault but I ran into the lady that I paid to get into the pool and told her that we were a little disappointed and she seen my daughter and said she was so so sorry and she gave us four adult passes to use in the future which she did not have to do and was very nice of her. I highly recommend this pool as there's lots of nice people that work there and swim there.

- Resourceful library access for locals.- they have an adjoining gym, child minding, pool/ aquatics L.- You’d just need a library card to rent books, however for the gym/ pool - a monthly 90$ membership seems like a good deal.- yearly membership runs in 1100$, but I’d rather recommend monthly as it comes down to ~89$ with a mandatory 90$ initial assessment and training (charged separately)- personal training pack starts at 60$ odd and 5 pack costs you about ~250$

Its pool is good and spacious. It's sauna, steam room and hot tub are warm enough too. Some of the pool staff are kinda rude though in thier communication. When it is thier swimming lessons time, almost all resources are booked for them. Once my 3 y/o boy took a double to swim with, the trainer chased him to take it back Evelyn though there were tens of them on the floor unused. She said it is booked for lessons!! What about other users then?

Amazing gym! I love the view from upstairs. The downstairs section of the gym is so super awkward though.. overrun with men and as I stepped in there, all eyes were on me as if I was an alien not meant to be there as a woman.

Don't book for an Aquatics Birthday Party here as they don't really have an actual party room. Tables that were given to us were stained and did not look presentable. The party will be located at the hallway before the bridge, wherein lots of strangers can just keep on passing while your party is going on. No electric fans were offered even with the hot weather. Staff did not do any activities with the kids at the pool. We were expecting that they would somewhat do something as they let us pay for an additional staff because we exceeded 12 kids at the party. Receptionist was not friendly either.

Went to the pool on Sunday between 10-12. Only the small slide was open for 10 minutes maybe less, diving board closed. Apparently there is not enough staff. The Covid times have long passed and City of Surrey is still not capable to hire enough life guards for busy weekends.

Amazing place. Both me and my wife wanted to have swim so we went there and the overall experience we had is great. It was bit crowded and we had to wait in the queue for a while to take tickets but it was worth the time spent at the queue. The life guards at the swimming pool were very vigilant too. Would love to go again.

This recreation centre is fantastic! I went for the first time today, and was thoroughly impressed by the pool. It's so modern, and has features to appease people of all ages. The steam room is great. I love that the hot tub is literally right beside the warm pool. The slide looks like a great time, and the cold pool is huge! Although I didn't get to try out the cold pool because it was being used by clubs, it did look excellent. Additionally, the change rooms were clean and tidy. I love how you are able to continually lock and unlock the lockers; if you forget something inside your locker, you can get it without having to buy a new token! Overall, the whole facility is maintained to the highest standards and provides and will continue to provide great fun for everyone!
