Amazing food right in the heart of Cumberland! The onigiri is perfect for on the go snack or stay for the okonomiyaki. Local ingredients with spot prawns from Campbell River and bacon from Courtenay. Great seating area with eclectic style and of course the nicest people. Highly recommended!

What a place... This little gem needs a bigger sign because it's amazing. The food is exceptional, service is wonderful and the venue is adorable :)The traditional food cooked with proper fresh ingredients is so flavoursome and the service was super friendly and helpful in helping us choose what to order!

The food was really good. We got the Pork Donburi, Gonza Okonomiyaki, Ume Onigiri, and Matcha Iced Tea. It was a lot of food so servings were good! They are located at a park so you can dine at a picnic table!A little bit pricey but since there aren’t any places that serve Okonomiyaki in the valley, it’s understandable.

I grabbed a quick, tasty onigiri and an iced tea and chatted with a friend. What a treat to visit Gonza! Their new menu items are great too. I got a chicken don last week and it was top notch. Nice that they have gluten-free meal options now. Cheers Gonza

The food was delicious! I wish I could have it every day-we were lucky to be in town when it reopened after their break.Everything was great, but the veggie okonomiyaki (+ Campbell River spot prawns) was definitely one of my favourite things from the trip. We also got a yakitori, pork onigiri, iced hojicha, and a kinako mousse-definitely recommend trying a few other items.
