We are in 2019 and you would imagine that people are more educated and more open-minded. Especially in Canada, where people are known to be more polite, kind and respectful towards one culture or another. This country is beautiful for its diversity. Yet here I am, being a Chinese-Canadian, experiencing racism once again. This Tim Hortons has only one washroom for its customers, one that is clearly marked with a “Family Washroom” sign on the door. My nephew, 3 years old, and I were waiting in front of the door for my mother to finish. Once she was done, she let us in because my nephew needed to pee. We were all in there since my nephew needed assistance. Less than two minutes later, a person started furiously knocking on the door outside to hurry us.When we came out, we noticed that this person was a woman, and she started blaming us for using the washroom for too long. She was saying how we shouldn’t be three people inside the washroom. My mom, with her limited English and French vocabulary, tried to explain to the woman that she should be more understanding because my nephew needed assistance to pee due to his very young age. After this, it just escalated, the woman immediately started making racist Chinese comments along the lines of “ching chang chong … ni hao…” “oh le chinois n’importe quoi”. Very demeaning insults towards our race. Insulting my mother because her French was not good enough.Having this woman scream at us was upsetting enough, but the supervisor arrived shortly from hearing us argue. He wanted to kick us out and call the police on my mother and I. We explained to the supervisor that it was the woman who started making racist comments but instead of understanding and dealing with this in a professional manner, he started blaming us and complained that we were causing trouble. We just wanted the woman to stop her demeaning attitude but instead, David, the supervisor came to side with the woman and told my mother and I were to leave right away, knowingly that the woman was being impolite. This is injustice and racism.I confronted David and asked him why his attitude was different towards us and this woman, why did he want to kick only us out and not all of us, including the woman. He answered “I don’t care, I don’t care about you”. I asked him why was he being unfair like this and he replied with “I don’t care, it’s unjust, I don’t care”.This completely blew my mind. His response hurt and offended me. It was a huge disappointment knowing that it was an unfair situation yet he chose to be like that and to side with racism. He chose to treat us differently because of our race, my mother’s language skills and to bully us. Also choosing to support the woman that bullied us.We decided to leave and make a complaint to their headquarters but as we were about to exit, I saw David shake hands with the woman. I cannot believe that even today, such racism exists and people of different colour are treated with disrespect in Canada.Up until now, still no feedback nor response from Tim Hortons' main office. But I would like to share this story with everyone so people can spread the word that we should treat everyone equally and respect one another regardless of ones’ gender and colour.

Wait was way to long as usual. My chocolate milk was sour. They didn't have decaf either. Couldn't return the chocolate milk as it was take out and noticed it about 15 minutes later. When we drove back on our way home they were closed. Not the first time they don't make decaf. Either it's to busy or to late and they are closing. Middle of afternoon...

They're fast but there's always mistakes when ordering with the mobile app. Everytime I ordered a cappuccino, I ended up with an iced cappuccino. I ordered a London Fog, I received a Latte. The idea with the mobile app is to spend less time in store...

Really nice staff. Super friendly and understanding when other Tim's in the area mess up. Will fix your order with a smile on the employees faces. I recommend going to this one instead of the location in Farnham.

Horrible experience. Absolutely useless staff. Instead of attending customer they were busy entertaining each other. Ended up placing wrong order.
