Hildas Sewing And Alterations

My grandmother 85 years old went in today to get one shirt hemmed. She walked in and explained she needed her shirt hemmed, the women were extremely rude to her. They treated her very poorly and it was upsetting to hear my grandmother tell us about her experience. She ended up walking home and cried her entire walk home. This is unacceptable would not recommend comming here.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! If I could rate this without stars I would. I have never met anyone so disrespectful and completely unprofessional!! This lady should not be working in customer service and she surely should not be using a sewing machine. I dropped off a purse to be reinforced at closing and she agreed to do it and then I got it back with knotted stitch that was a different colour than my bag. When I asked why she would do this without consulting me (blue stitch on a black purse & knotted thread that looks like a child did it) she tells me she didn’t call because I dropped it off at closing when she didn’t NEED nor WANT my service. She then went to say it couldn’t be fixed without possibly destroying the bag. She ended with “If your not happy you don’t need to come back because again “SHE DOESN’T NEED OR WANT my business!” BE CAREFUL!! This lady is VERY insecure about her work and she has obviously received this feedback regularly because she had her “CRAZY SPIEL” rehearsed and ready to go. Not only will she destroy your stuff but she will insult you as she gives if back to you with a smile!! She’s a REAL TREAT!!!

I had the worst experience with them!Do not take any quality clothes to them for alterations. My dress pants were butchered hemmed crooked, one leg shorter then the other, an expensive sweater destroyed, not to mention rude and unprofessional customer service. When asked to fix the pants - she told me to take them elsewhere as she has lots of money! Simply aweful.

Unfortunately, I can’t support or recommend a business that is unwilling to take a few seconds to provide a solution to a project. She was rude and I left feeling like she simply didn’t need the business. Will never go there again for anything.

Really lovely staff - but most importantly really great prices and excellent work! Would recommend time and time again.

They did a wonderful job Shortening my bridesmaids dress. I’m very pleased with the outcome and reasonable priced. I definitely will recommend them and will use them again.

Not a good place if you value your clothes. No remorse when they ruin your clothes. They avtually tried to blame me for the outcome resulting from their incompetence . Be warned!
