Tried out burrito sensei for lunch with some friends. All of us enjoyed our meals. The wraps were tasty and the ingredients were fresh. Everything was made to order and you could tell nothing was premade.For the poke bowls and wraps, you have a choice of brown or white rice. That was a nice option to have.I wish there could’ve been a bit more sweet potato in the wrap as there was only one piece in it with the rest being greens/veggies.Would’ve just added more to the wrap as it is the sweet potato cannon wrap but really it was only ~15% of the wrap..At this time, they are only providing dine in services for dinner and take out for lunch. Service was slow for our takeout order. We were told 15 mins for our order but it took about half an hour. Just be prepared for a wait if going for lunch. There were only two staff working during their lunch rush which was unfortunate for them as it got quite busy for just two people.

Happened to go to this restaurant on our recent visit to Ottawa as other restaurants in the area we wanted to try were closed by the time we got back to hotel. And I'm so glad we ended up here. I ordered the Japanese vegetarian curry and it is one of the best vegetarian meals I've had at a Japanese restaurant (vegetable sushi rolls/tempura are other typical vegetarian options but not much different from one place to other). This was very filling, a little spicy and tasted great! Too bad I did not get a chance to revisit but will most definitely be back next time I'm in town.

During this current COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been too Burrito Sensei twice. Both times the service was impeccable. The staff was extremely accommodating & friendly. Also, very helpful in regards to helping us browse through their menu, which can be intimidating to some new customers. As for the food, we’ve tried a variety of different poke bowls (we recommend the tuna & raw salmon). Poke bowls felt very clean and with the ability to remove ingredients you don’t like, it’s easy to customize a poke bowl to your preference. In addition, we ordered the salmon burrito sushi which was very neatly packaged and as rich in flavour as it was in organization.Burrito Sensei: clean, organized & friendly.Thank you for the great service. Look forward to going back!

I order from here regularly and the food is always great regardless of whether you eat in (which you should…it’s lovely!) or take out. One time my takeout order got messed up on a particularly busy night and the manager refunded my entire meal the next day (even though I wasn’t expecting much to happen).The staff, service, and menu is always amazing and it really is a gem in this city.

A good spot of poke bowls in Ottawa. The orders are a bit pricy, especially when you feel like there could be more fish or meat added. However the rest of the ingredients are fresh and delicious.The service can be a bit slow at times, specifically during lunch rushes, so plan for that.The staff are attentive and quick to react.The atmosphere is innovative, cozy and some might even call it romantic, however is does get a little loud in there.

Adorable little hangout spot near parliament. Been ordering and going here since the last 3 years. Best salmon poke bowl in Ottawa, get it with their marinated egg and mango salsa. It's to die for. I love their sweet potato croquettes and in house menu too! Definitely on the top 10 for me

(4/5 stars) Overall.(3.8/5 stars) For the burritos because it was messy to eat and it was all over my hand. The representation was really pretty and makes a flower with more than one burritos.(4.2/5) But the skewers were really good.
