Had dinner at Pad Thai after reading good reviews online. It was amazing! Cute little restaurant in a residential area in a strip center. Indoor decor is pretty. Nice vibes. Great service. Absolutely delicious food, something for everyone in our relatively picky family and great customer service. So glad a friend recommended this place, its the best Thai food I’ve had in Calgary. Special shout out to the mango rice!

The menu options at Pad Thai were pretty good. They had the standard Thai offerings such as Tom Yum, pad Thai, pad see ew, and a variety of curries. They also served some dishes that we hadn't seen elsewhere such as the Chu Chi basa (I'd recommend this). We found their dishes to be slightly too salty for our taste buds but otherwise, the flavors were nice.This is a very friendly, family-run restaurant with a very nice ambiance. To support local small businesses, I would come back again. It is evident that the ladies that own and operate Pad Thai take a lot of pride in their food and their space.

I loved how much veg is in each dish!!! Usually thai food places seem to only put 3 ingredients in each dish but all of our dishes were jam packed with flavour variety. Everything tasted great and had good presentation and service. All was reasonably priced but the ambiance made it feel like I was in a more expensive place, in a good way.

We've ordered take out from PadThai before, and decided to try a dine-in here. We enjoyed the delicious food and great hospitality, the food portion is somewhat small for the price, which is understandable given the current inflation

We really enjoyed all food. Most of food were pretty strong and rich. We are half Thai people so we asked them to cook very close to original Thai food. We were very satisfied.

A very good place for Thai food. Service is friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Get here early or make a reservation on the weekend as it gets busy.

This place is very good.The seating is cozy and comfortable. They have very quick service. They close around 9 pm and we had called ahead to reserve a table for 8:30pm. They had already set up our table before we entered.The food is very good.I highly recommend their drunken prawns. It’s on another level. Panang curry was very good.Papaya salad and green curry could be better considering the standard of their other dishes. Food was a solid 8/10. Those who know me are aware that in terms of food this is a very high rating.Their server Calvin was humble, sweet and knew the menu well. Calvin turned this from a 4 star review to 5 stars.Would definitely visit again.

In Canada, I’ve been on the prowl for good food that has umami that kick like a mule. Some places are either painfully salty or plain tasteless. Here came Pad Thai Restaurant, an amazing eatery that’s extremely faithful to Thai roots without trying too hard. I reviewed Pad Thai Restaurant based on food quality, ambiance, server attentiveness, and value. If I could only give six stars for each, I would!The ambiance is great for big groups and is kid friendly. You’re treated to a relaxing atmosphere with dimmed lights. The servers were helpful. They helped guide us to the menu and even gave us recommendations for the next time we come back. And we will.We started with a Thai crowd favorite: the Chicken Satay. The chicken was well-seasoned and tender (think Kobe/Wagyu Beef quality) but for chicken. The chicken was covered in the signature peanut sauce which combines suave texture and a complex flavor profile which balanced sweetness and nuttiness. It was a great complement to the main course—the Pad Thai. Not wanting to misrepresent the restaurant’s namesake, the dish was the ultimate spirit of a Thai meal. The noodle serving was heaping. It was topped with chicken, huge shrimp, and fried tofu cubes. It’s as if all the animals decided that the afterlife all led to this plate. I ordered it Hot, and even though the spiciness delivered, the flavors were still equally sharing the spotlight. We even had to order additional peanut sauce because it just works. The sauce added to the complexity of it all. Jesus, it was a party in your mouth. We finished with their signature Thai Iced tea which is both a dessert and a drink. It was as sweet as I expected it to be, but you can top it off with more water to balance it out (plus, you’ll get more drink which is nice). Obviously at around $20-$30 per person (depends if you have drinks or a dessert), this was worth every penny. We even had extra food to take home. Quality and quantity was there without hurting your wallet.If you’re around Mount Pleasant and you want an authentic Asian meal, look no further to the Pad Thai Restaurant where the name is a literal advertisement for the food. Hell, go here even if you’re not from the area. It checks all of my preferences as a foodie. More than that, price value was excellent with what you’re getting. It pulls no punches in ingredients, ambiance, and service.

Good food and service. We loved the Pandan chicken and drunken prawns, of course the green curry beef.
